Over the Edge

GIVEAWAY

CONNEALY, MARY
OVER THE EDGE

Seth Kincaid remembers almost everything...except getting married!

Seth Kincaid survived a fire in a cave, but he hasn't been the same since. Then he fought in the Civil War and returned to Colorado crazier than ever.

Somewhere along the line, it appears Seth got married. Oh, he has a lot of excuses, but his wife isn't too happy to find out Seth doesn't remember her. Callie isn't a long-suffering woman. When Seth disappeared, she searched, prayed and worried. Now she's come out west to wrangle her long-lost husband.

Seth is willing to make amends. Callie is more interested in shooting him. Can they rekindle then love before one of them goes over the edge?

My Review:

Connealy concludes her Kincaid Brides series with a bang -- literally! She's back wrecking havoc on her characters, this time torturing poor Seth into submission. Connealy's trademark humour will leave readers chuckling out loud even as they duck from flying bullets. This is the wild west where women have to be tough and they don't come tougher then Callie Kincaid. Seth doesn't know what hit him and he's soon consumed with fleeting memories that tantalize his mind and more importantly his heart.

Readers of this series will recognize Seth has the 'crazy' brother and I think we've all waited with bated breath to see if Connealy could turn the hapless cowboy into hero material. Let me say she managed just fine. Watching Seth come full circle -- finally able to face his past in order to free up his future was an unexpectedly moving bonus in this lighthearted read.

The third of the series, Over the Edge would be best enjoyed being read in order as there are many recurring themes and characters.
