Lady Outlaw

GIVEAWAY

HENRIE, STACY
LADY OUTLAW

No one would ever imagine a fresh-faced young woman could be robbing stage bandits of their ill-gotten fortunes. But Jennie Jones is desperate to save her family's ranch from foreclosure. And the risks seem worth it, until her upright new ranch hand offers a glimpse of how much is really at stake.
Former bounty hunter Caleb Johnson is ready for a new, clean start. With a woman like Jennie, he could build a future there in Utah territory. But only if his gentle faith can guide her in a choice between the land she's fought so hard to save and a future by his side.

My Review:

I don't think I have read a Love Inspired Historical that I haven't loved and this one is no exception. Henrie has created a new spin to a wild west tale filled with outlaws. Jennie's spunk and desperate drive to save her family's ranch gives impetus to the story and conflicts with retired bounty hunter Caleb Johnson's values and faith. And that leads to an interesting dilemma.

Can the end really justify the means? Is it stealing when the money was stolen in the first place? On opposing sides of this dilemma, Caleb and Jennie's romance seems doomed from the start but Henrie weaves a sweet and captivating love story that will completely satisfy her readers.

  4. The heroine is someone I know I'll like. She sounds strong and brave! I already like Wild West stories but a different spin on it sounds good too.
