CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE : A story where the romance plays a major role and is set in our 1980s to current.
How does it work?

  1. Absolutely numero uno!!!!! I didn't get chosen for her street team when she just recently put the call out (sniffle, sniffle, sob, sob) so Dani Pettrey is my first pick:

    #1 Still Life (January)

    1. Oh dear! In all my excitement, I overlooked the fact that this fits under the suspense category. Please scratch this pick and I'll just go with my second and third pick today. When suspense comes up, I'll choose it then. *feeling a bit sheepish*

    2. Hmmm...I think we've run into this problem other times and I let it go because I didn't say not suspense in the definition of contemp fiction. So, technically since romance is featured and it takes place in the present, we can include this AND you can also include it on suspense day if you want. :-)

  2. Even though I have a digital copy (from Netgalley) for this one, I still prefer paperback!

#2: Rescue Me by Susan May Warren (January)

  3. I hope this counts for contemporary even though it's dystopian. If not, I'll pick a different one.

#3 Raging Storm by Vannetta Chapman (second in the Remnant series)

And I love the dog series, by Dana though I still have to get the second one. And that pic on the front cover of Paws to Love is the author's dog. Little scamp. Good luck, Loraine.
