Reader'sFiction - Christian Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Help me plan my summer reading by recommending new releases scheduled for publication in June, July or August 2017 and you could win one of the books you recommend. Here's how:

IT'S CHRISTIAN FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!!!!!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title of the book(s) in the Christian Fiction genre you'd like to win. Please note: This is an open giveaway -- any Christian Fiction book published in June, July or August 2017 is eligible. You can choose books you've already entered on other days or select completely different ones. This is also a chance for readers who enjoy Women's Fiction, YA, Sci/Fi, Fantasy, novellas etc to have their say since those categories didn't have their own giveaway day.

How does it work?
Easy-peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win the draw, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!!!!!!
Publication dates must be
June, July or August 2017
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer three suggestions per day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to the
# of responses)
Open to International readers (I'm all about spreading the Good News about Christian Fiction all over the globe!!!!!!)
Please remember to include your email, using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers. Draw will be held and winner announced on
Sunday June  21 2017.

  1. Fun category...now to choose...lol!

#1 Light of Dawn (Remnant Series bk 3) Vannetta Chapman~ June

I have the other two and am excited for the newest one :-)

  2. #2 The Captian's Daughter by Jennifer Delamere (London Beginnings series bk 1)

New-to-me author and the book sounds good, why not take a chance to find a new "favorite" writer? ;-)

  3. I'll choose something different for my last one

#3 Assaulted Caramel by Amanda Flowers

Since this is cozy, not sure if it qualifies in the Christian category. Let me know and I can choose another Kav!

    1. I haven't read the second Remnant book yet and the third is already coming out???? Oy!

And yes, Assaulted Caramel counts. Man, I love that title. It's on the CBD website. Love Amanda Flower and her quirky humour. Good luck, Trixi.

    2. I didn't know about the third Remnant book either until I saw it listed on CBD! She also has a new Amish series called The Amish Bishop Mysteries starting with What The Bishop Saw in April of this year & the new one in August entitled When The Bishop Needs An Alibi. Don't know if you knew about those :-)

A!so, glad to know the cozy counts! I get all the books off of CBD so I was hoping since it was on the it would count. I don't read too many copies because they aren't strictly Christian, even though they are clean reads. My husband enjoys his share of them though :-)

    3. Please forgive the typos, I'm only on my first cup of coffee & my Kindle loves to play tricks on me by typing what IT thinks I need to say....OY!

That should read "I don't read too many cozies" *sigh* I think I need another gallon of coffee...lol!

    4. Ignore the timestamp, it is NOT afternoon here in the West coast....it's only 9:22 :-) Just in case you thought I slept until noon and was just getting my coffee...lol!

    5. Ugh? Sleeping until noon? What a waste of good reading time! :-) I can't figure out the time stamp thing either. It's not my time zone and I created the blog.

I'm like you -- Christian Fiction all the way (in case you couldn't tell!) and I first learned about Amanda Flower when she did an Amish suspense series for B&H. Then she started writing cozies for Kensington -- one of those series was set in Amish country and there was a definitely a faith thread thanks to the Amish characters. I'm thinking this series will be the same.

And yes -- I had heard about that new Amish mystery series by Vannetta Chapman. I heard about it on Facebook...maybe from you? Really looking forward to it as well.

    7. I haven't slept till noon since I was a teen(?), I'd feel like my day is wasted for sure! Now I may occasionally take a nap, but that's a different story, lol!

    8. Nap time is sacred -- especially if you curl up with a good book first. Do I have a one track mind or what?

    3. LOL -- thanks guys but I'm feeling kind of guilty since I'm making y'all do the work for me. My list has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm so excited about all the new releases everyone shared. Can't wait to start reading them.

And, Tracey, I was surprised about the lack of biblical fiction in the historical selections on Monday. I guess it's not the first time period that comes to mind.

      Good luck, Tracey!
