Her Alaskan Cowboy

GIVEAWAY
CALHOUNE, BELLE
HER ALASKAN COWBOY

A rebel cowboy returns a single dad. Can he find redemption in Love, Alaska?

Back in Love, Alaska, Joshua Ransom comes face-to-face with ex-fiancee Honor Prescott. A single dad of an infant daughter, Joshua's no longer the reckless cowboy who broke Honor's heart. But discovering he's selling his late grandfather's land in developers puts them  at odds. With the Diamond R's fate unclear, so is their future. Will this second chance lead to Joshua being one of Love's Alaskan Grooms?

My Review:

I can't even tell you how much I love this Alaskan Grooms series! Each book reads perfectly well as a standalone but I love the page time shared by favourite characters from previous books. Readers get to see how previous heroes and heroines are faring. Not to mention the beloved secondary characters who are the backbone of this town. Like the irascible Jasper and the indomitable Hazel. Those two crack me up every time!

And at long last we finally get Honor's story. She's practically town royalty and the cosseted little sister of  protective older brothers.  But even their fierce loyalty couldn't protect her from teen-age heartbreak when she fell head-over-heels-in-love with the town bad boy in high school. It didn't end well and even though years have passed, Honor's heart hasn't quite recovered.

And then Joshua shows up in town. Older. Wiser. Dedicated single dad. He takes her breath away all over again but their future looks murky when they find themselves on opposite sides of a town issue. Romantic tension abounds and my heart hurt as Calhoune slowly peels away layers of hurt and mistrust and reveals the sweet promise of a second chance happily-ever-after.

  1. To say I'm woefully behind on Calhoune's Love, Alaska series is an understatement. To say I've not read single one of them is more accurate...sigh....

  9. I love stories based in Alaska. Think it may be due to the fact that I was conceived there but due to Mom's RH- factor and it being way back when, they were stationed back stateside before I was born. Makes me feel like I was suppose to be from Alaska. :)

Thanks for the review of "HER ALASKAN COWBOY". Definitely sounds like a book that I'd very much enjoy reading. Appreciate the chance to win a copy.
