Home Another Way

GIVEAWAY
ANDERSON, BRENDA S.
HOME ANOTHER WAY

She's a senator's daughter. He's a convict's son. And both have a heart for the homeless. Can they overcome their differences and learn what it really means to serve and to love?

Realtor Dani Chamberlain's passion for bringing attention to the homeless regardless of the method, has once again backfired. Along with being sentenced to one-hundred hours of community service feeding the homeless, she's absorbing kicked out of her home -- by her own mother! She has less then two months to find a new place, or she'll be living on the street herself.

Once a homeless teen, Austin Lang is now a school teacher and coordinator of the Family Table Meal for the homeless in his community. And he can't wait to purchase his own home. When Dani Chamberlain breezes into the Family Table Meal wearing high heels and a haughty attitude, his life and plans are upended.

Dani is instantly drawn to the quiet, selfless man who puts his faith into action, and Austin can't stop his attraction to the passionate woman who dives in to help people without thought to her own safety. Along with working together serving the community, they join forces to search for their new homes, deepening their attraction.

Then each of them receive news that shakes their foundations and threatens to test them apart permanently. Can they overcome their differences and learn what is really means to serve and to love?

My Review:

I love the fresh perspective Brenda S. Anderson brings to her stories. A slice of real life with all it's edgy grit and everyday struggles liberally dosed with grace and an abundance of a Father's unconditional love. And I'm enamored with Austin's inspiring refrain to "pray it forward." That's going to become part of my inspirational repertoire from now on!

So Austin is all focus and faith and careful planning. He's striving to make a difference after breaking free from his chaotic upbringing. Dani is a hot mess! She's taken her privileged upbringing for granted as well as her faith. Her heart is in the right place, but she's like a wild child acting out under the guise of activism. These two are exact opposites and yet they can learn a lot from each other. They come together in a clash of wills and more than a spark of attraction.  And it's messy and funny and poignant and sweet....as well as infuriating!

A compelling contemporary romance that showcases faith in action and the plight of the homeless. Guaranteed to touch your heart and firm your resolve to 'pray it forward' too.

  7. "HOME ANOTHER WAY" sounds like a great book. I love when opposites attract. Probably because in some ways that is hubby and I. Once you quit clashing and compliment each other it can be a fabulous thing. Love when they show how faith strengthens not only a person but also a couple. I'd love to have the opportunity to see who is works out for Austin and Dani. Thanks for the chance to win a copy! <3
