Murder Under the Mistletoe

GIVEAWAY

REED, TERRI
MURDER UNDER THE MISTLETOE

Agent undercover...

DEA agent Tyler Griffin must stop a drug cartel that's using an Idaho Christmas tree farm to smuggle narcotics across the Canadian border. But to do his job, Tyler needs the cooperation of farm owner and widowed mother Heather Larson-Randall—whose informant brother died on Tyler's watch. Tyler knows a crucial piece of evidence is hidden somewhere on the property. But getting the protective mother to trust him is the hardest part of his mission. As threats against Heather mount, he vows to keep her and her child safe…and clear the farm of danger before Christmas.

Northern Border Patrol: Keeping the US-Canadian border safe..

My Review:

Hello -- murder and mayhem on a Christmas tree farm?! Count me in! You can't get more Christmasy than that! Loved the fresh angle and the way the author incorporated Christmas and suspense with a liberal dash of romance into this absorbing read. The perfect book to practice your armchair sleuthing techniques. Hot chocolate with marshmallows and shortbread cookies optional (but highly recommended.)

    1. Oy -- thanks for pointing that out, Trixi. Rolling eyes -- there's a reason that I usually delete all the images from last week's giveaway before I starting writing up the current week's giveaway...alas, I let it slip this time and well, the covers are both blue and darkish and I didn't read the fine print. LOL Fixed now. Good luck.

  9. I meant to say Terri Reed but was thinking and swore it was Susan. Drugs and Christmas Trees are not a combo I'd have put together. Crazy what people do to conceal drugs. Jenny

    1. Jenny, that was my fault. I had Susan Sleeman's book image on Terri Reed's review. Trixi pointed out my error and I fixed it. My bad. And yes, I just hope the bad guys don't take any hints from this story. Good luck.
