My Review:

Classic Western with toe-curling romance! I felt like I'd stepped into a Western movie. Gritty, sometimes violent, but with the heart and soul of a cowboy. There are definitely some nail-biting scenes to balance the heart-palpitating romantic ones. With a fast-moving plot and intriguing secondary characters, this is a winning historical for the armchair adventurer!

    I'm not familiar with Shelley's historicals either. I have enjoyed her Amish books. I love the old West era. Back before John Wayne, even!!!

    This book sounds like a good read. I have read ALL of Shelley's Amish fiction books. I am a huge fan of those! I can't wait to read "A Texan's Honor" and would love to win a copy of this book.

    I love both Shelley's Amish and Historical books -- there are similarities in writing style, but both genres are unique. Good luck everyone!
