My Review:

Gleeps! This hero and heroine have HISTORY!!!! I want to talk about it but I can't because, well, you just need to read it for yourself. And, mercy, but does this suspense have a hair-raising start! Beware paper cuts on your finger tips from frantically flipping pages! And then it's all fast and furious and puzzling the rest of the way through. All while Tessa and Gabe slowly reclaim what they lost three years ago. A read-in-one-sitting wonder.

My Review:

Whoa! What an intense roller coaster ride! Noah and Sophia are racing the clock to find a killer and the more they dig the more confusing it gets. And the more dangerous. Dodging multiple attacks and vicious threats all while chasing down clues with barely a second to breathe in between. 

But, oh my, those bits of calm amidst the storm are put to good use as this hero and heroine reconnect after years apart. Never sweethearts, but childhood friends who became enemies make this a kinda reunion romance with a twist. Love the way the author brings the same kind of intensity to the romance. 

Not sure if this is the start of a series, it isn't labeled as such, but Noah has some intriguing coworkers I wouldn't mind getting to know better (hint to the author.)

A fast-paced adrenaline-rush of literary delight.

My Review:

Sometimes an opening line just grabs my attention and this one sure did. "The first bullet hit the wood mere inches from Whitney Johnson's head and sent splinters all over her face and hair."  That right there convinced me that Everglades Escape had to be my next Love Inspired Suspense read (and I had seven to choose from!) 

I had a love/hate relationship with the setting because...snakes and alligators -- eeeek! But, it's not my usual fictional destination so I tried to tamp down my phobias and 'enjoy' the adventurous scenery (while dodging bullets and a villainous drug lord's henchmen.)

Action packed, with a steady pace, Tailer still leaves time for readers to get to know the hero and heroine -- and for the romance to s-l-o-w-l-y develop. I love when there's a balance like that because I'm a die-hard romance fan but it also makes the suspense edgier because I'm always bracing for the next BAM moment, never certain when it will come.

Whitney's a great kick-butt heroine with enough defense moves to put Sidney Bristo (TV show Alias) to shame. And that all important first meet is a hilarious example of why you never want to get on Whitney's bad side. :-) And Theo -- be still my heart! A glasses wearing nerdy type with a heartbreaking past and more than a few surprises up his sleeve. Eeeep -- these two are dynamite together and I loved every tumultuous moment of their happily ever after journey!

My Review:

Wow -- that heart plummeting opening scene grabbed my attention! Rife with danger and action, I could tell right away that Perilous Pursuit was going to be a page-turner. Especially with Mackenzie and Jake searing up the pages of my book! Sizzling attraction from the get go (it helps that they have a bit of history.) Jake is poleaxed by Mackenzie's transformation from his best friend's pest of  a little sister to the self-assured, direct young woman he rescues from dire circumstances. He admires her grit but hates her job - cue the clashing of wills! I love it when a heroine has an unusual job and I don't think I've read a story about a videographer .before. But she's definitely impetuous when it comes to the lengths she'll go to for her art which truly infuriates Jake. :-) The suspense plot is really unique -- again something I've never seen before in a book...or even heard about...so kudos to the author for that fresh twist. Definitely a must-read for fans of romantic suspense.

My Review:

A game of cat and mouse that just doesn't let up! One harrowing scene follows another as Chelsea desperately tries to evade the men stalking her. You might just need a defibrillator for this one! There is literally no place to hide but kudos to Alex for his determination to help Chelsea through it all. He goes from distrustful cynic to valiant protector as the story progresses. Kind of hard to resist -- even for Chelsea who has a lot on her mind! A great blend of action and romance that will keep you on your toes right to the very end.

My Review:
 
An enthralling cat and mouse chase will keep you on the edge of your seat in this heart-stopping suspense. From the hair-raising opening to the charged conclusion, Tailer kept this reader hooked. And if the the threat hounding Jack isn't enough to get your attention, Casey's secret certainly will. I just love the way the author gradually revealed her backstory bit by bit. The Reluctant Witness is a compelling read -- another excellent offering from the Love Inspired Suspense line.
