Accidental Fiancée

GIVEAWAY
MOORE, MARY
ACCIDENTAL FIANCEE

Necessary Nuptials

Lady Grace Endicott never would have dreamed she'd be ruined by a rake. But after an innocent encounter with notorious scoundrel Lord Weston is misconstrued, her beloved sister's introduction to society—and her own reputation—are put at risk. The only way to avoid a scandal is a betrothal.

Brandon Roth—Lord Weston—doesn't quite know what to think of his independent fiancée…or their growing friendship. Yet their engagement ruse is quickly becoming more than a temporary fix. If he can convince Grace that his wicked ways are now far behind him, he'll be able to prove that he wants nothing more than to care for the lovely lady…

My Review:

I'm in a Regency tailspin! Toe-curling satisfaction guaranteed. Lord Weston is the quintessential Regency hero. His rakish past and sarcastic humour can't hide the real gentleman that lies within. I was intrigued after the first meet but when I reached page 139 I became completely smitten. Be. Still. My. Heart.

Grace has no intention of falling in love. She's given up on believing there's a living, breathing knight in shining armor in her future. Oh my goodness, but she is so wrong. But, beware, there is treachery afoot that complicates a smooth path towards a happily ever after and that makes for a thrilling read.

In addition, Moore has included a moving inspirational thread that flows easily throughout the story. Nothing stilted or forced. Just pure truth and the hope of grace. Beautiful tie-in to the heroine's name.

This stunning Regency romance makes for an exhilarating read.

Can faith help him see that love, like true beauty, always comes to light?

My Review:

Sheer delight doesn't begin to describe the thrill I felt as I devoured this Regency romance. Moore has an uncanny ability to capture the essence of the period in minute detail.  I felt like I'd been dropped into Regency England and I didn't want to get out!

Masterful pacing keeps this read a real page-turner. In fact it is so well done that I often had to pause just for the luxury of imagining my own conclusion to a scene. There's nothing like scene savoring to send this reader into a euphoric tailspin!

Beauty in Disguise is a must read for Regency lovers everywhere!

The Aristocrat's Lady

GIVEAWAY!!!!

MOORE, MARY
THE ARISTOCRAT'S LADY

For a few moments on a moonlit balcony, Nicole Beaumont was just a beautiful woman catching the eye of the handsome Lord Devlin -- but she knew the illusion couldn't last. If the enigmatic aristocrat knew her secret, he'd realize that her disability left her unfit for love. So who could blame her for hiding the truth a little longer?

Devlin had never met a woman like Nicole. Her unique combination of innocence and wisdom left him utterly intrigued. Yet what was she hiding? For a man who did not trust easily, discovering her secret was devastating. Overcoming their pasts and forging a future would take faith, forgiveness and trust. And second chances could lead to new beginnings...

My Review:

Though I don't know the exact time period The Aristocrat's Lady is set in, it has the feel of a classic Regency read so that's how I'm going to describe it. Now Regency isn't always my favourite setting for a historical romance but this one has more than a few twists that kept me riveted.

Nicole has a secret and it isn't revealed until well into the book. I was driving myself mad trying to figure it out. Moore has planted clever little hints that don't make sense -- at least they didn't to me -- until the big reveal. I read this one ravenously! Finished it in an afternoon because I just couldn't put it down.

Devlin plays the role of the jaded aristocrat well -- until he becomes intrigued by Nicole. The dialogue between the two is so refreshing and witty, even outrageous at times. I loved it!

In fact there isn't anything I didn't love about the book. Simply a classic good read.
