Treacherous Slopes

GIVEAWAY

REED, TERRI
TREACHEROUS SLOPES

Killer competition

A champion ski jumper, Nick Walsh wants one thing: to win the gold for his late brother. Nick has always blamed himself for his family's tragic loss -- and so does everyone else. To complicate things, sweet and shy reporter Julie Frost insists on doing a story about him. But as Nick gets closer to achieving his dream, someone will do anything to stop him. Somehow, Nick must keep Julie from getting too close as they confront a threat that can destroy them both. Julie and Nick are on the verge of a threat that can destroy them both. Julie and Nick are on the verge of discovering the truth about his brother's death...unless an unknown murderer finds them first.

My Review:

A great book to get you in the mood for the Olympics! The author captures the spirit and drive of the games and that adds an extra thrill to the read.

As the suspense builds, so does the attraction between Julie and Nick. Both threads are stretched taut and made this book an I-couldn't-put-down read. I like the fact that neither Julie or Nick are in law enforcement. Reed gives her readers a fresh perspective by creating fairly unique occupations for the romantic suspense genre -- a professional athlete and a reporter.

Treacherous Slopes is a perfect example of why Terri Reed has become a go-to Love Inspired author for me. Definitely worth putting at the top of your TBR pile.
