EASON, LYNETTE
RODEO RESCUER
She can't escape...
No matter where she runs, rodeo clown Tonya Waters's stalker always finds her. Now he's managed to track her down on the rodeo circuit. If bull rider Seth Starke hadn't saved her, she'd be dead. But when the handsome cowboy is injured in the ring and Tonya rescues him, Seth seems more determined than ever to keep her safe. But can she risk staying at his Tennessee ranch and bringing danger to his family? As her stalker gets more violent, Tonya and Seth vow to outsmart him before he makes good on his ultimate threat: if he can't have her, no one will.
My Review:
Tonya doesn't know where to turn and neither did I. Talk about edge-of-your-seat! I was twitching and jumping, heart in my throat as I flipped every page. There's something so creepy about a stalker. Shiver.
Loved Tonya's unusual profession. The dare devil in her is a perfect match for the dare devil in Seth. Really enjoyed the way they are evenly matched that way. They respect each other's professions and that means they understand the drive. A really refreshing perspective. And great common ground to start off a romance. Eason weaves her magic once again with the perfect blend of suspense and romance in this exciting page-turner.

ReplyDeleteOh, Kim -- if you like romantic suspense you need to check out Lynette Eason! Good luck.
DeleteWill do her name is on my list. Thanks
DeleteCommon ground at the start make for a beautiful marriage later on in life as well. My style for sure. rrwalter34ATgmailDOTcom
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking, Becky. That common ground really made this story different -- usually when you read a romance about a rodeo cowboy the heroine is always trying to get him to stop riding and he usually makes the sacrifice at the end to keep the girl. It was so refreshing to read a romance with a heroine who got the whole adrenaline thing. Good luck.
DeleteOh - I so want to read this! I love the rodeo and the idea of a female rodeo clown is so interesting. Not to mention the stalker and the cowboy of course. Thanks for a great review, Kav!
ReplyDeleteYeah -- it has a lot of winning themes to reel a reader in. Good luck, Cindy.
DeleteI'm certain I have a book or two by Lynette on my bookshelf (maybe Kindle too)! She's a wonderful author :-)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of a woman rodeo clown, so this already sounds intriguing. They can understand each other job wise, which is great common ground to build a story on. I agree, it would be very disturbing to have a stalker following your every move...I shiver right along with you, Kav!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Kelly.
DeleteBefore even getting to the story, I was intrigued by the atypical romance cover. In fact, I had voted on this cover in a post on Margaret Daley's website. Glad to hear the story is as nice as the great cover.

Good point, trosado. The cover is very unusual and eye catching because of that. Good luck.
DeleteI was raised in AZ before I became a southern belle (cough cough), and the sound of a rodeo book appeals to me! And I love these stalkers...only in books - not in real life! gasp! Thx for the excellent review and the opportunity to win a rodeo/stalker book!
ReplyDeletedianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
I know -- the stalker angle is interesting. And interesting piece of Diana trivia -- an Arizona girl? I didn't see that hiding under the southern belle. LOL Good luck.
DeleteLol I'm a southerner who's been grafted in by virtue of living in SC for 27 years. Y'all come see us, hear!
