DeleteI see some of us have the same tastes! I want Playing the Part by Jen Turano
ReplyDeleteLattebooks at hotmail dot com
I hate how when you make a mistake it leaves the "comment deleted" still there. Lol. Anyways, I was going to say Calico Spy, but just found out I am getting it soon, YAY!! Love her. Also, I wanted to say Jody Hedlund's newest, but it says Dec 29 as release date, so not sure that counts as one. Then I pick A Sweet Misfortune by Maggie Brendan.
ReplyDeleteNo worries about the deleted comment -- I deleted deleted it. LOL I didn't know about A Sweet Misfortune so that's on my list now.
DeleteJody Hedlund -- Undaunted hope says January release...but she's doing a YA series as well so maybe that's the December one? Good luck, Susan.
I just double checked and Amazon says kindle version of Undaunted Hope release as Dec 29. So maybe that was it? I didn't know they do paperback and kindle as different release dates. Either way, it's on my list. Lol!
DeleteJody's release isn't until January (paperback at least anyway), I know because I'm on her launch team for this one. :-)
DeleteBrush of wings by karen kingsbury or Mermaid Moon by Colleen Coble. kamundsen44ATyahooDOTcom

DeleteNorthern Light by Annette O'Hare looked good, too. (If you needed any more ideas) Haha, I'm ending up making my own list now!
DeleteAdded it to my must read book...yes, I have a book not just a list. Divided into months. There's something so euphoric about planning out one's reading year. :-)
DeleteI hope and pray you get all your gifts completed, but you know how excited we are for some reader choice entries! ;) Even if we don't win it's always fun to discuss and see what everyone is excited about reading next!!!

DeleteAnd I hope this one counts. I read your handy guide and even though I think it could be classified YA I think it still falls under HistRom 3: A Daring Sacrifice Paperback – March 1, 2016 by Jody Hedlund
ReplyDeleteYes -- it counts. I didn't think there were enough options for a YA category so figured they could go in whatever other category they fit in plus in the general category next week. Good luck, Amada.
DeleteOh good! :) I thought so. There aren't that many coming out especially at the beginning of the year. But this one sounds good! :D

ReplyDelete#2: A Spy's Devotion by Melanie Dickerson (February 2016)
I just saw this on her website this morning! It's a new series by her called Regency Spies of London. I hope you will allow my change of books, I didn't see this yesterday...LOL!
Ok, blame auto-correct, that's suppose to read Kav NOT Lab....so sorry!!
DeleteLOL -- Arf! Arf! I`m thinking Labrador Retriever. No worries, I deleted your second choice so I won`t get confused when it comes to tally time. Good luck, Trixi.
DeleteI know what it is, you featured dogs in books last week, so it's your own fault...LOL!! Thanks for allowing me to change my book choice. Melanie is a new "favorite" author :-)
DeleteNo problem -- I`m looking forward to that one too. It will be interesting to see how she writes a non-fairy tale book.

DeleteI tried to pick choices from my own wish list and not sneak peeks at other people's comments. So here goes: Because I am a Sherlock fanatic, I am very excited for Rachel McMillan's full length debut, A Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder. It was supposed to come out in April, but got pushed up to March.
ReplyDelete. . . my second choice is Jody Hedlund's, A Daring Sacrifice. I have two copies of her first YA book, An Uncertain Choice - one for my daughter and myself. She also has/had a study guide to go along with the first book on her website that is really good for teenage girls.
ReplyDelete. . . Last choice is Flirtation Walk by Siri Mitchell. I remember seeing the cover reveal for this one forever ago and thinking the release is so far away. :)
