Danger in the dunes...
In a deserted area of a beach town, Leah Hampton is helpless against the stranger trying to drag her away at gunpoint. But a handsome man comes to her rescue, risking his life for her. Suddenly, she and Jon Wilson are being hunted by very powerful, dangerous people. Why? Could she have been a target for the human trafficking ring that Jon's mother suspects is taking over the tiny town? Leah and the brave, love-shy man who saved her are now being framed for their pursuer's crimes. Hiding out among the fog-shrouded dunes, Leah and Jon must outsmart the ringleader before they're silenced forever.
My Review:
My heart was in my throat the whole read. Seriously suspenseful in that we're-being-hunted-by-a-crazy-killer kind of way. I mean that guy just doesn't give up! Thankfully Leah and Jon have staying power. All the action takes place in about twenty-four hours which ups the tension and makes it difficult for a reader to catch her breath. Intense, desperate and just a little bit creepy in places. Just the ticket for a rabid suspense fan like me.

DeleteI just finished reading Terri Reed's newest and it sounds like this...a crazy killer who won't give up. And the heroine is familiar with him, creepy indeed!! Just the kind of suspense I love to read!
