My Review:

Packed with action and suspense, this one was a quick read. I just had to keep turning the pages so I could find out what happens. I like Grady's style -- he's detail-oriented, but not wordy and he gives his characters
emotional depth that adds a deeper dimension to the read.  The story is tight too -- the suspense and romance angles all lead to a crescendo of a climax. Wow -- he writes action with conviction. It left me breathless.

Loved reading a guy's take on the romance angle! He's made it very real and painful and exhilarating all at the same time. And honest. Brutally honest. I liked that Elle and Silas were straight up with each other -- no coy games or misunderstandings. Just gut-wrenching romantic drama! And the flashbacks Grady uses to explain their past relationship really helps heighten the tension.

This is Shawn Grady's third book and I will definitely be heading out to buy the other two. I've find a new 'must-read' suspense author.
