My Review:
The very clever title wraps this pure romance up into an incredibly alluring package. That spark of attraction is there from the very first scene. Janelle and Rett (isn't that the perfect name for a southern gentleman?) are perfect for each other once you get past all the imperfect baggage they're carrying around!
And the exotic setting -- a steamboat ride down the Mississippi -- added to my fascination. The author made me feel and smell and plain ol' experience the trip right along with the hero and heroine. Honestly, I'm pretty certain I know exactly what Mississippi mud smells like now! There's nothing like armchair travel/romancing and Current of Love was an excellent venue to satisfy the romantic traveler in me.

When I was younger, my family and I went to Hannibal, MO and we rode down the Mississippi River. It was a great experience. I would love to do it again sometime with my husband and sons.
