My Review:

An action-packed thriller of a read! The intense plot starts out with a bang and doesn't let up until the very last page. Mills measures her words to draw out the tension. I was on edge the whole time I was reading. Definitely not a book you can easily put down.

The romance is subtle but no less intense. Mills strips away the edginess from time to time when the hero and heroine are together. Sometimes it's just a sentence or two, sometimes a whole scene, but she gentles the tempo and gives the reader a glimpse into their lives. That change of pace made me savor every nuance of the scene because I knew the peaceful interlude wouldn't last for long.

Honestly, this book reads like a whole season of the television series 24! It has that kind of urgency to it along with those trademark twists and turns that drive the complicated plot towards a resounding climax.
