Blindsided

GIVEAWAY

LEE, KATY
BLINDSIDED

Undercover rescue

When race-car track owner Veronica Spencer discovers stolen cars in a garage on her track, she knows she's been framed. But before Roni can do anything about it, the criminals kidnap her. Undercover FBI agent Ethan Gunn shouldn't break his cover to protect Roni, but he won't watch her die, either. Ethan knows she's innocent. So he risks it all to help her break free. But now, with killers and the FBI on their trail, Ethan must find a way to keep her safe...and clear her name.

Roads to Danger : Family secrets resurface

My Review:

A heroine with Ninja James Bond driving skills. Car chases worthy of an action movie. A heroine who knows her own mind and doesn't back down from a fight. A hero who is sworn to serve and protect and is determined to do so whether the lady is willing or not. Uber bad guys galore and enough suspense and romance to guarantee you'll devour Blindsided in one fell swoop. I did.

And just an FYI, this is the second book in the Roads to Danger series. It reads perfectly fine as a standalone, but there are some familiar characters to become reacquainted with if you are a fan of Silent Pursuit, including an update on Lacey and Wade which was a fun bonus.

  4. Kav, I love to see your book reviews when they are repeat authors. It speaks to how much you previously enjoyed them and puts me on alert. I've now been following long enough to remember your review on Katy Lee's previous book. Too bad you hadn't reviewed her book, Permanent Vacancy, since I just put a hold on that one from our library. :) tlhcoupon(at)hotmail(dot)com

    1. Hmmm...you mean I missed on? So many books, so little time! I really like the novelty of the race car track backdrop in this series and I'm not a racing kind of girl. It's just fun and different. Good luck, Terrill.
