To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title of the book(s) in the Christian Fiction genre with release dates in Sept, Oct or Nov you'd like to win.
How does it work?
Easy-peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win the draw, you win the book you suggested.
Please read and follow rules carefully.
Definition of CHRISTIAN FICTION:Yes, all the previous categories had to be Christian Fiction as well, but I've added this one to include any other genres within inspirational fiction. Like Women's Fiction, Sci/Fi or Fantasy, Suspense/Mystery without a romantic element. Plus anything from the previous mentioned categories.
YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!!!!!!
Publication dates must be
September, October or November 2016
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer three suggestions per day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to the
# of responses)
Open to International readers (I'm all about spreading the Good News about Christian Fiction all over the globe!!!!!!)
Please remember to include your email, using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers. Draw will be held and winner announced on
Sunday August 14 2016.
The Shattered Vigil by Patrick W. Carr is coming out in November. Really looking forward to that --I reviewed book 1 last year and it's kind of like a fantasy crossed with a police procedural/detective story. Really cool. =)
ReplyDeletejafuchi7[at]Hawaii[dot]edu
Oh, and Accelerant by Ronie Kendig!
ReplyDeletejafuchi7[at]Hawaii[dot]edu
A Time to Rise by Nadine Brandes is also coming out in October. It's the last book in her Christian YA dystopian trilogy.
ReplyDeletejafuchi7[at]Hawaii[dot]edu
Would the first book of the Patrick W. Carr series be The Shock of Night? My library has it. I just put it on hold. And haven't read anything by Nadine Brandes either. Must get on that. Good luck 'Art'.
DeleteYep, The Shock of Night is book one! There's also a free prequel novella. I downloaded it but haven't read it yet --I don't know if it's better to read that first, but jumping straight to the novel was fine for me.
DeleteGood morning Kav! One last thank you for this fun week of discovering what's coming out for fun fall reading. I have a great list going!
ReplyDeleteWaves of Mercy by Lynn Austin 10/4
I had actually checked to see if Lynn had anything new, but didn't see this one before I had already picked my historicals so I'm adding it here.
Hooray for second chance Saturday!

The Undoing of Saint Silvanus by Beth Moore
ReplyDeleteBeth is an excellent writer so her first fiction release is just too intriguing to pass up! I didn't know what category it actually fell in so saved it for here.
tracey14567 at gmail dot com
Where Two Hearts Meet by Liz Johnson 10/18
ReplyDeleteAnother one I ran out of room for earlier!
tracey14567 at gmail dot com
Thanks again Kav! By the way, you had me laughing on FB talking about your Amish characters overlapping with an English Downton Abbey accent, so funny. I switch my reading genres around almost every book, so I know what you're talking about! Reader problems, lol!
LOL -- yeah, just try to get the image of Carson in a beard, no mustache, and wear suspenders. Very disconcerting.
DeleteGlad you had fun this week, Tracey. I sure did. Now to find the time to read all the books on our lists, eh? I'm curious to see what Beth Moore's fiction book is like. Bet it will stir the soul. Good luck!

DeleteFour Winds by Lisa T. Bergren. This is the second book in her River of Time: California series. I didn't see the release date online, but I emailed her and she replied this morning that it would be out late October/early November. Perfect timing!
ReplyDeleteJ.C. -Indiana-
jcservantslaveATicloudDOTcom
Oh, thanks for pointing this out. I read the first River of Time series and loved it but I didn't realize there was another series too. Will be checking into that for sure. Good luck, J.C. And points for being an intrepid sleuth and getting the release date straight from the author's mouth. LOL Good luck.
DeleteLady Ever After by Tamara Leigh. I didn't see an exact release date on this one either, but it says on her website that it will be out fall 2016. Also I didn't know whether this is considered Christian or just a clean-read, so...? So sorry if this is too much trouble!
ReplyDeleteJ.C. -Indiana-
jcservantslaveATicloudDOTcom
I'm not sure about this one either but thanks for the reference. I've spent an enjoyable half hour looking over her website and I do love time travel. Though she has this one under the label of clean read her definition is edgy inspirational with no explicit love scenes so I'm thinking it could be considered Christian fiction. Frustrating that her website says Fall 2016 release but it isn't up on any sites yet. Argh. I don't know what to say. Let's leave it in and if you win I'll make you responsible for keeping an eye on the release date and when you have one, contacting me so I can order it for you. How's that? Good luck, J.C.
DeleteI'm not adding this, but seriously!! I'm so excited for some more time travel fiction!!

DeleteFinding Margo by Jen Turano (November, Gilead publishing) - apparently it's contemporary with a bit of romance and a bit of mystery. If it's by Jen Turano, it has to be hilarious.
