Reader's Choice -- Amish Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Summer is finally upon us and that means publishers are getting ready to shower us with new releases. Everybody -- SQUEEEP -- together! I am so excited.

So here's how this thing works: You recommend Christian Fiction with release dates in July, August, or September 2019 (up to 3 a day) and you have a chance at winning one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(

IT'S AMISH FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Amish Fiction genre you would like to win.

Amish Fiction

A full-length story or novella collection where the hero or heroine (or both) are Amish OR the story has significant Amish involvement with Amish secondary characters and Amish community. Can be historical or contemporary and cross genres such as YA, suspense, or dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
July, August, or September 2019
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions a day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of
due to # of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on somebody else's logon)
Offer open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about
Christian Fiction all over the globe!!!

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one comment (per day) If you choose not to include your email it is up to the winner to contact me with their mailing address.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday June 15 2019

    1) Listening to Love by Beth Wiseman (Sept 3)
When Wiseman started writing non-Amish contemporary books I lost track of her. It's good to know she's got a new Amish release coming out because she's one of the best Amish authors there is IMO.

    1. I've heard a lot of good things about Beth Wiseman but I have not had a chance to read anything by her yet. I need to remedy that ASAP! I tend to stick with Amish authors I know so I'd definitely like to expand out a bit.

    2. I remember buying her first series ever at the Christian bookstore in our town, and I was hooked. I lost track of her as I mentioned earlier, when she started writing contemporary novels, but she is one good author! Trixi, you and I will both have to play catch-up. lol

    2. The two dates for Patricia Davids' book is because the Kindle one releases later than the paperback. Strange but true. I lost track of Beth Wiseman too...we'll have to create a catch-up club. lol Good luck, Diana.

  21. The Loyal One by Shelley Shepard Gray. Her books are usually very good, and this sounds interesting with a remodel into a bed and breakfast. Thinking quaint decorations and an old house with "character". This comment from one who browses estate/tag sales for old things. Thanks!

    1. Oohhh -- me too! I used to have a great magazine store in my neighbourhood and they carried international magazines and one of them was an estate sale magazine from Britain. All the luscious details from inside out had me drooling and imagining myself setting up house in the English countryside. lol Not quite the same thing as browsing sales in person but fun just the same. Good luck, CC!

  31. As I was looking at booksellers and my notes for general fiction, I realized that I failed to submit my 3rd Amish selection yesterday. Interestingly, I don't see it listed in any of the comments. It sounds to be an Amish/English relationship story.
