My Review:
Phew! We're off to an intense start in the first chapter and tension just keeps mounting as the story progresses. Love the way Reed has captured the myriad emotions Abby goes through as she is thrust into one nerve wracking experience after another -- and she meets the challenge with spunk and fortitude! Really nice pacing between those edgy scenes and the developing romance. I felt like I got to know both Jace and Abby and could see them falling for each other -- even in the midst of mayhem.
A solid suspense plot with intriguing twists and turns made for a riveting read. And, while this isn't listed as a series, Jace has two colleagues I wouldn't mind seeing featured in their own stories so here's hoping the author's muse plays nice and grants me my wish. :-)

I really enjoy Terri's suspense stories! Usually she does "series", even though they may not be listed as such...so here's hoping that's the case with this book too.

P.S. I just popped over to her website and discovered her next book coming out in January called "Forced to Hide". It's about deputy US marshal Brian Forrester, so I was wondering if this is #2 in the US Marshals series? Inquiring minds want to know!
DeleteEeeep, yes Brian is one of the ones I was hoping would have a story. Very strange -- and a tad frustrating -- that LIS is stingy about labeling series. They must have a reason, but I sure can't think of one. Thanks for digging that up info up and January isn't very long to wait. Woot! Good luck!
