won by Connie L.

won by Wendy Newcomb

won by Trixi

won by Pam Westfall

Looking ahead to next week:

It's time for the ever popular
Reader's Choice Giveaway Week!

Instead of me reading and reviewing a book each day, I'm asking for your recommendations on Christian Fiction being released in September, October or November 2016. The rules are pretty easy (see below). Each day will be dedicated to a specific genre. You can recommend up to three books per day/genre. Basically, if you win the draw, you win the book you suggested which will mean waiting a month or two until the release date. The end result is we all get a great list of book recommendations for our TBR piles!
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!!!!!!

Publication dates must be
September, October or November 2016
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer three suggestions per day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to the
# of responses)

Open to International readers (I'm all about spreading the Good News about Christian Fiction all over the globe!!!!!!)

And since there's been some confusion in the past about what fits in each genre,
here's a handy-dandy guide

ROMANTIC SUSPSENSE OR MYSTERY:
A mystery ia an important part of the plot. The heroine or hero (or both) are often in peril (more so in a suspense). Can be set in a contemporary or historical setting and may have Amish content.

HISTORICAL ROMANCE
A story where the romance plays a major role and is set in any time period before the mid 1970s (and may have Amish content)

CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE
A story where the romance plays a major role and is set in the1980s to current (may include Amish content).

AMISH ROMANCE
A story where the hero or heroine (or both) are Amish.

NOVELLA COLLECTION
A book that consists of multiple short stories written by various authors
(may include Amish content).

CHRISTIAN FICTION
Yes, all the above categories have to be Christian Fiction as well, but I've added this one to include any other genres within inspirational fiction. Like Women's Fiction, Sci/Fi or Fantasy, Suspense/Mystery without a romantic element. Plus anything from the previous mentioned categories.

So that's it. You can ask any questions in the comment section but no book suggestions until tomorrow when we kick off the festivities with Historical Romance.

  3. If we don't have a book suggestion for one of the genres, can we still be entered to win from that category or no?

    1. You have to submit a book which will be released in Sept, Oct or Nov 2016 in order to be entered in the draw. If you win, the book you suggest will be the book you win. If you're not sure what is being released in the fall, just wait a bit and you'll see titles you might be interested in submitted by other people. Just remember -- each title needs its own comment -- you can submit up to three for each category on the appropriate day.
