Reader's Choice of any title on their Wishlist!

GIVEAWAY

Well, this is embarrassing. Today's review and giveaway of Searching For You by Jody Hedlund has been postponed due to...well...the book gone missing at the library.

Gasp!

I usually read at least a week ahead for my blog reviews so this kind of thing doesn't happen but I was so excited when I got a notification from my library saying my hold for Searching For You had come in that I added it to this week's giveaway even though I didn't have book in hand. Alas, when I went to pick up the book...cue the creepy organ music...it wasn't there! And no one could find it. Which is kind of poetic justice when you think about it -- given that this series is about searching for the lost. :-)

Anyway, the search is on and the librarians assure me it does exist and I'm first on the list to read it. I have a sneaking suspicion that someone in the backroom sneaked a peek and then couldn't resist keeping it to read. At least, I like to think that this book is making the rounds among avid librarian type readers rather than that there's a book thief lurking about.  So, instead I give you...ta da!

PARE DOWN YOUR WISHLIST DAY!

We all need to clear out some of those titles because come the end of this month we'll be searching out new spring releases -- eeeeeeeeepppppp!!!!!!! So dust off those lists, readers, and let me know in the comments what book you've been pining for and you just might win a copy.

Here's how it works:

Any Christian Fiction title on your wishlist --
Any publication date
You can offer up 3 choices
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
CHRISTIAN FICTION only please
no email entries today (sorry!)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's login)
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction all over the globe!

It's helpful if you include your email in one of your comments (doesn't need to be each one) -- just remember to use AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers.

If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on Saturday March 9 2019.

  1. "The Case of the Missing Library Book", sounds kind of Nancy Drew-ish. But I have faith you can solve this mystery.
I was looking forward to the review of Searching for You. There's been some discussion on fb group about it. A couple readers thought it was too "sensual" and others said no way, they never saw that. So, I'm still looking forward to your take on it!
But how fun to have a surprise book day, thank you!
I hear Becoming Mrs Lewis by Patti Callahan is very good, so I'm going with that for my 1st choice :)

    1. I read "Searching for You" and I didn't think it was too sensual. In fact, I'm such a picky reader that if I would have noticed anything like that, I would have put it down without finishing it. But I know readers have varying degrees of what is too much or not enough or things of that nature.

Funny how, say, five people can read the same book and get something totally opposite out of it. 😊

    2. Trixi, that was what had me wondering but more than one or two on the Avid Readers of Christian Fiction Group felt is was. There were just as many who said it wasn't. so isn't it interesting the different perspectives, so much is based on upbringings and rules within denominations I think.

  2. 2nd choice The Captured Bride by Michelle Griep.

I talked to her on fb group. She said it is along the lines of The Captured Heart which was my fav of hers.

  3. 3rd choice Wings of the Wind by Connilyn Cossette, I have the first 2 in the series but wanted to wait until I had all 3 in hand to binge read. I read the 2 in Refuge series and she is an awesome insightful writer.
Thanks again Kav, now go forth and solve that mystery!

    1. Yes ma'am, I'm on the case of the missing library book as soon as I can find my magnifying glass and gumshoes. :-)

I had your first choice in my clutches but had to return it to the library before I could get to it. Sigh. The perils of getting a whack of books at the same time from the library. So now I'm on the hold list...again. Good luck, Tracey!

    2. Tracey, you are going to LOVE Connilyn's first series and you'll get to learn more about Moriyah from A Light on the Hill in Wings of the Wind :D

  4. Wow, what a delightful surprise today, Kav!
I had same issue with a library book; they finally decided a guy came in to get his books and they mistakenly added mine in with his order and he did not notice until he got home and exclaimed WHY do I have this book? Took him a week to get it back though; the librarian was so embarrassed that she offered to bring it to me, I said no, I’ll pick it up.
