VOW OF JUSTICE
Playing dead might just get her killed.
FBI Special Agent Lincoln St. John is living his own personal nightmare. When the woman he loves, Allison Radcliffe, is killed, he devotes himself to tracking down the killers and making them pay for their crimes. He expected it to be a challenge. What he never expected was to find Allison very much alive shortly after her "murder."
As his anger and hurt mix with relief, Linc isn't sure how he's supposed to feel. One thing he does know for sure: he and Allison will have to work together to stop a killer before she dies a second time -- this time for good.
My Review:
What a great way to read out the old year with this thrilling blockbuster conclusion to the Blue Justice series. And woohoo -- the gangs all here, ready to help Linc out of a deadly game of cat and mouse. I love the St. John family -- the teasing banter that switches to professional efficiency when the need arises. These siblings are always there for each other, no questions asked and together they are a force to be reckoned with.
Linc and Allison have a history -- partners and friends who are on the verge of something much more when Allison is 'killed.' What follows is such a tense, whip-lash frenzy of a suspenseful tale that I'm still reeling from the fallout. And the romance has the same kind of desperate edge to it. Another enthralling page-turner from one of my favourite romantic suspense authors.
No worries if you haven't read any of the other books in this series -- Vow of Justice can be read as a standalone, but I bet once you do you won't be able to stop at just this one. :-) And -- eeep -- that epilogue!!!! My cheeks still hurt from grinning so much!!!! :

Ha -- that seems to be where all the addresses I'm trying to input on Book Depository have gone to -- lost in Internet OuterSpace!
DeleteI still need to read the 3rd book, but I know I'll be needing this one soon enough. :) I thank you for all the great romantic suspense reviews that have slowly (but assuredly) got me reading more of them. I still have some hard lines when it comes to certain content - NO serial killers. Or cults. Lol!
