Reader's Choice -- Contemporary Romance / Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Eeeepppp! The start of a New Year means the beginning of new fictional adventures and that means...

Reader's Choice Giveaway
New Year's Edition

So, here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in January, February or March 2022 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(

IT'S CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE / FICTION
GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance / Fiction genre you would like to win.

Contemporary Romance / Fiction -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period after 1980. May cross genres such as YA, Suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
JANUARY, FEBRUARY OR MARCH 2022
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of
due to # of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(no piggyback on someone else's log in)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)

It's helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Sunday January 2 2022

  1. Don't laugh but I'll be fitting this book into 3 categories this week, historical contemporary and general fiction, lol. What can I say? It's my number one choice for the winter!

  4. This is my fifth comment this morning :) I'm just here holding down the fort until everyone else shows up, haha.
In case anyone needs suggestions, I've read these contemporaries and can recommend them.

    1. There's always an early bird in every crowd! lol I'm kinda jealous that you got a sneak peak into 2022 but I'm happy for the recommends. I'm especially glad that Jody Hedlund's time travel story is going to be complete with this second book. I don't think my heart could have taken another cliffhanger ending! :-) Thanks for sharing, Tracey!

    2. I got them through Netgalley for review, you could too. I'm terrible at waiting, so if I can get something on my must read list, I jump on it. Some publishers are persnickety about who they approve and mainly want bloggers, but Revell and Barbour are great.
Readers are hoping Jody will pick another character and write another story, so who knows?!

      Delete
    3. I can't do Netgalley because ebooks don't agree with me. :-( They do some audible books but you have to have a US account not a Canadian one so that won't work either. :-( :-(

      Delete
    4. Eek, sorry! Don't some publishers still provide paperback? Seems like when I signed up there were options, but that's been a long time ago.

      Delete
    5. Not to Canada. :-( There's one marketing company here who handles Baker Publishing Group in Canada and I get 3 or 4 books every two months from them.

    2. It will still be three comments / chances to win too and the books can be published any time up until March 2022.

I'm still making my list...which is kinda overachiever too long lol but I have things like 'finish a series', 'read a debut author', 'read a book that everyone's raving about but hasn't tickled my fancy', 'read out of my comfort zone' etc. So if I were entering the reading goals giveaway I could pick up to 3 titles I want to read to accomplish three different goals or all the same goal. Also, your goal can be as simple as 'I want to read x number of books' in which case anything goes! Hope that helps, I still haven't smoothed out that post's content so hopefully I'll be able to make it clear enough. :-)

    3. I'm not a hockey fan at all but she promises "there’s way more romance than sportiness" and plus the description of the hero wanting to find love because he wants a genuine relationship with a woman who sees the real him and not a just a jock. If that's not swoon worthy I don't know what is!

  72. This is usually one of my hardest categories to fill, lol, but this time around, I actually had quite a few I was interested in! Bethany Turner’s humor is a big enticement and I’ve loved Carolyn Miller’s historical so much that I’m willing to move into contemporary sports novels for her (I’m not into contemporary OR sports in general😄) Two others I am interested in in this category this time around are Never Leave Me by Jody Hedlund and In Search of a Prince by Toni Shiloh, but since I am on the team to receive ARC copies of both of these, it made my selections rather easy here😉

I'm looking forward to both those novels too. It's going to be a great reading year!
