Reader's Choice Giveaway
New Year's Edition
So, here's how this thing works: (and it's a little bit different, so pay attention.) You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles released any time during 2021 (up to three suggestions) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(
IT'S THE LAST HURRAH FOR
2021 CHRISTIAN FICTION BOOKS
GIVEAWAY DAY!
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) published in 2021 that you would like to win.
Last Hurrah for 2021 -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas published any time in 2021. And genre, any time period -- just has to be Christian Fiction.
How does it work?
Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication dates must be
ANYTIME IN 2021
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of
due to # of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(no piggyback on someone else's log in)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)
It's helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Sunday January 2 2022

ReplyDeleteNight Moves by Susan Sleeman
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway, Kav! :)
The Wish Book Christmas is the book that gotta away from me this year. It has great reviews. On my Christmas reading for next year list. Good luck, Tracey!
DeleteI don't think I can wait that long; you have a lot of patience Kav. I'm reading it in January
DeleteWow, no one has ever paired patience and anything book related to me before. lol I started reading Christmas in September so I'm almost Christmased out...except I just discovered an audible book that takes place right after Christmas that I'm going to try. And I also discovered a stranded in the snowy wilderness rescued by a rancher Christmas story that I might not be able to resist until next year. :-)

In between all the busyness of the holidays, this fun book talk/giveaway has been a blessed respite. Thanks, Kav!
ReplyDeleteHere's one I can't believe I let get away as I so enjoyed her previous books!
1) Every Word Unsaid by Kimberly Duffy
dianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
I read Mountain Laurel and couldn't wait for the sequel & never had the time to get to it.
ReplyDelete2) Shiloh by Lori Benton
One of my fave Christian fiction reviewers highly recommended this one, but not sure it's Christian fiction or not. If not, just scratch it off the list please.
ReplyDelete3) Heart in the Highlands by Heidi Kimball
I've been enjoying this deep dive into our reading futures too. I'll count Heart in the Highlands -- I've been reading a lot of these clean Regencies and I'm finding they have a more subtle inspirational thread -- sometimes more than the supposedly Christian Fiction books do. I need to read Heart in the Highlands too. Good luck, Diana!
DeleteI quite agree! Thomas Nelson needs to get their act together & decide if they're going secular or stay CF. Many of theirs nowadays include no Christian thread or very little. So disappointing bc many of my fave authors are with Thomas Nelson.
DeleteI remember us discussing this book Diane and I'm glad you've reconsidered because Heart in the Highlands DOES have a strong inspirational thread on forgiveness, in addition to being a swoony romance too! I'm already on the lookout for anything new from Heidi Kimball.
DeleteTracey, thanks for sharing that! Rebecca Maney highly recommended it as well & I trust both of your opinions. Did you & I discuss this one? I think we did! Oh my goodness. Sorry. My hubby & I both have post Covid addlepated brains. Even after all this time. 🙄
DeleteYes we talked about it, you messaged me, lol, check your PM for our discussion.
DeleteYou and Kav both need to read this book, I want to hear what you both think! :)
Okay, this book is on my immediate to-be-read list!! I rely on readers like you guys to rave about books that I didn't know about. I've discovered many gems when I do!! Thank you!!
DeleteLet us know what you think Trixi!
DeleteTracey, oh brother. I didn't realize it was this book. 🙄 I think I just read too many books of which there is no cure for! lol I'm right there with you, Trixi!
DeleteI love Heidi Kimball's books. If you haven't read Where the Stars Meet the Sea, put it on your list!
DeleteWell, here's another one that looks & sounds wonderful! Thanks, Winnie! I need to read faster for sure!

ReplyDeleteI love flipping through my TBR book and seeing what's been ticked off and what's still languishing as unread. I've read a ton this year but I still have way too many gaps. I guess that's an avid reader's dilemma! Good luck, CC!

I haven't even started this series. Not a huge fan of the cover art (which makes me sound so shallow but there it is) and, oh yes, I remember how much I dislike the narrator for this series. I can't listen to her at all! So, that kind of did this series in for me. Good luck, Susan!
