GIVEAWAY |
The best part of summer is the hot new releases publishers are sending our way! SQUEEEP!!! I'm so excited! And I know you are too so here's a chance for you to win a book from your summer wishlist.
Here's how it works: You recommend Christian Fiction with release dates in July, Auguat or September 2018 (up to three a day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(
IT'S CHRISTIAN FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Christian Fiction genre you would like to read.
Christian Fiction
A full-length story or novella collection in any genre, including previous selections you've made on other days and also for specific genres not covered this week such as Women's Fiction Speculative etc.

I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Sunday June 17 2018
Only pain makes one get up this early. Ugh. Prayers appreciated!
ReplyDelete1) Sons of Blackbird Mountain by Joanne Bischof
dianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
Sorry for your pain Diana, prayers for relief!
DeleteI read a review copy of Sons of BM and
like other J Bischof books I can hardly
describe how wonderful it is, anyone who reads it is in for a treat!
Thanks so much, Tracey! I'm taking a couple of Advil and trudging back to bed. Which is something I seldom ever do, because I don't like going back to bed. Sigh...
DeleteLoved all Joanne's books, especially the Lady and the Lionheart. I was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed with SoBM, so it's exciting to read your high recommendation!!
Praying for that pain to still and that you have peaceful morning snooze, Diana.
DeleteTracey -- so excited to hear that you loved this book. Loved Lady and the Lionheart so much and I wondered what her next book would captivate me as much. Sounds like it will.
Well, not to give any spoilers, but Joanne's portrayal of a deaf mute and what it's like to live in a silent world has to be the most unusual character experience I've ever had and seen any author attempt. Ya'll will not be disappointed! I still haven't written my review because, as is so often the case with Joanne's books, it's hard to do her work justice, but it's amazing!
DeleteThanks, Kav! God has answered prayer bc pain is some better! Now I just have the shakes from taking such an early nap and sleeping so deep. I know I'm a hot mess.
DeleteExcited about all these fabulous summer books that everyone has shared. Many that I didn't even know were coming out! So many thanks to you, Kav, for putting this together. I know it's a lot of work for you. Muah! 😘

DeleteInteresting that both the second and third books in Tracie Peterson's Golden Gate Secrets will publish in this upcoming quarter. So,
ReplyDeleteIn Dreams Forgotten, Tracie Peterson, July.
I just finished her first one in this series....LOVE her books and so thankful my library always has them!
DeleteMy library gets them too...thanks to a little prompting from me. :-) And I noticed how close together these releases are as well.
DeleteIn Times Gone By, Tracie Peterson, Sept. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFor my last - something very serious and historically significant (and I have been reading a great deal of WWII non-fiction and well researched fiction as I work on genealogy in that time period). I know nothing of this author but saw this on ChristianBooks, publishing by Thomas Nelson.
ReplyDeleteAuschwitz Lullaby, Mario Escobar, August.
We all have spotted some great books to add to our want to read lists! Thanks to you for the fun quest.
Yes! We are all explorers on an endless book quest! That Auschwtiz Lullaby caught my eye too when it was mentioned on Monday. Based on a true story -- and a different angle on the holocaust since it involves the Romanis. Good luck, CC.

#2 The Patriot Bride by Kimberley Woodhouse
ReplyDelete#3 An Hour Unspent by Roseanna M. White
ReplyDeleteAnother book I found (which I really debated over including as my choice) was The Barefoot Brides Collection by Barbour Publishing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for mentioning that novella collection, Elly. Some interesting unfamiliar to me authors and I love the common thread of all the heroines being eccentric! Good luck.
DeleteI forgot to pop over last night before heading to bed to list my choices, ooops! So here they are:
ReplyDelete#1 Shattered Silence by Marta Perry (July)
I believe Tracey first mentioned this :-)
#2 The Stones of my Accusers by Tracy Groot (August)
ReplyDeleteNever heard of this author and the story sounds good!
Lastly:
ReplyDelete#3 The House of Saltwater Point by Colleen Coble
I need to catch up with her writing...lol!
teamob4 (at) gmail (dot) com
Good luck catching up with Colleen Coble -- she produces books at the speed of light!
DeleteAnd your second choice, The Stones of her Accusers is a re-release -- which is fine, since it's still considered a new release too -- just a different cover -- thought I'd mention it since you might have read the original. Good luck, Trixi.
Again?? Arggg! Okay so I'll switch it for:
Delete#2 Hiding in Plain Sight by Mary Ellis (August)
OOhhhhhh...a new Mary Ellis mystery series staring up...I like!!!! Can't believe we all missed that this week. Good luck, Trixi.
