Reader's Choice -- Contemporary Romance

GIVEAWAY

It is time to fall in love with new books!
To harvest a bushel of new reads!
To rake in more novels for TBR piles that will leaf us breathless.

And that means it's time for another Reader's Choice Week!!! Here's how it works: You recommend Christian Fiction with release dates in October, November or December 2018 (up to three a day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

IT'S CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE
GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Contemporary Romance genre you would like to read.

Contemporary Romance

A full-length story or novella collection set in present day (1980 up) May cross genres such as YA, Amish, Suspense etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
October, November or December 2018
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions a day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(to hard to keep track of
due to # of responses)
IMPORTANT: entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on somebody else's login) IMPORTANT
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day.) If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Sunday September 16 2018

    2. Hey Kav, yes I just had my 2 week checkup yesterday and I'm healing up nicely. I have been on a fair amount of meds, I laughed when I looked back at my picks yesterday, no howdy do or anything and no mail addy. It was early and I blame the drugs, haha. But seriously I'm better every day, thanks for the prayers!

  11. Who I Am With You by Robin Lee Hatcher, Dec. She posted a few days ago that she was making a family tree spreadsheet to follow all the family members in the series, and that she was just beginning work on book #3. I think this will be a little different from some of her other more recent books, with the dual timeline and heavy focus on one family. Thanks!

  14. I made some queries about the best way to search for future releases and got some sound advice from Melissa Jagears (author) and Carrie Booth Schmidt (Reading is My Super Power blog)

Using Amazon Advanced Search -- to do that (it took me a while to figure that out!lol) click on the gray tab (it says All) next to the search field to get the drop down menu and select 'books' and click search (no need to add anything in the search field.) You'll get into the home page for books and you'll see some new tabs at the top of the white space (just below the black strip) Second tab on the left is Advanced Search. Click on that.

Here's where you'll do a search by publisher -- and you have to do it one publisher at a time which is a bit time-consuming. And you have to type the publisher name exactly as Amazon as them entered. I checked that out for you so I'll add a list of publishers as they appear on Amazon below. But before I do that -- look for the pub date, month, year boxes at the bottom of the right hand column. Under pub date select 'after', under month select 'Sept' under year select '2018' -- that way your search will be limited to books published starting in October of this year. Okay so, in the publisher field type in a publisher and click the search button. Voila you'll get a list of books that will be published from October onwards. (I might have swooned a little over 2019! These lists aren't huge so they are easy to skim through -- I think the most might have been about 21 hits for one of the larger publishers. Once you've scanned those ones, click on the back button at the tip of your screen so you'll get back to the advanced search and all your info re pub date will be saved and you'll just have to change the info in the publisher field to do another search. I'll include a list of the publishers I have researched exactly as they appear on Amazon in the following comment:

    3. Thank you for going to all the trouble to let us know how it all works! I also searched CBD's new fall fiction online catalog (since mine hasn't come in the mail yet - ahem!) and the new releases are posted on each pg in genres...Amish fiction usually being 1st. Easy to see the book covers & descriptions, and just click onto "next" to turn to each page.
