GIVEAWAY |
It is time to fall in love with new books!
To harvest a bushel of new reads!
To rake in more novels for TBR piles that will leaf us breathless.
And that means it's time for another Reader's Choice Week!!! Here's how it works: You recommend Christian Fiction with release dates in October, November or December 2018 (up to three a day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
IT'S HISTORICAL ROMANCE/FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance/Fiction genre you would like to read.
Historical Romance/Fiction
A full-length story or novella collection set in any time period before the end of the 1970s. May cross genres such as YA, Amish, Suspense etc and may include dual timelines.
How does it work?
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication dates must be
October, November or December 2018
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions a day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(to hard to keep track of
due to # of responses)
IMPORTANT: entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggback on somebody else's login) IMPORTANT
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Sunday September 16 2018
So many books coming out in the next three months, it makes my reader heart giddy!!
ReplyDelete1. My very top pick for historical is (drum roll please)
The Bride of Ivy Green by Julie Klassen (December)
Trixi, I went to NetGalley & could barely find anything past October. Especially contemps. Where do you search if you don't mind me asking? Found plenty of historical fiction just on authors' pgs & Amazon. But not many other genres.
DeleteOk, just found some juicy contemporaries. lol
DeleteThey make us work for our reading pleasure, don't they? It shouldn't be so hard for avid readers to drool in anticipation of upcoming releases!
DeleteDiane, I go to Christian Book.com (CBD.com) and click on the "Fiction" tab up on the top, then it will have "Coming Soon" that I click on, and it will list the months. You can search from there!
DeleteThsnks, Trixi! Sometimes they send me emails of what's coming soon, but it's usually after the fact. lol
DeleteI searched their fall online catalog which I should've already gotten in the mail. Will probably get it after this readers' choice giveaway is over. It figures. lol
Delete2. The Reluctant Warrior by Mary Connealy (October)
ReplyDelete3. The Making of Mrs. Hale by Carolyn Miller (November)
ReplyDeleteI have not read any of her books but the reviews I've seen convince me I need to! :-)
teamob4 (at) gmail (dot) com
Eeeeppp on the final Julie Klassen book! I'll gobble this one up right away instead of waiting half a year like I did with Ivy Cottage. lol And I still have to read Miss Serena's Secret by Carolyn Miller. Sigh...I wonder if it's ever possible to be all caught up when it comes to reading. Good luck, Trixi!
DeleteThat's highly improbable Kav! It's a good reader quandary though, right?? 😉
DeleteGood morning, Kav! This is always SO much fun!

I never heard of Naomi Musch! And that book has a Canadian setting and diverse characters...how cool is that?! Thanks for the recommend. Good luck, Diana.

DeleteSWEET! And Mist O'er the Voyage sounds SO good to!

Diane, I felt my heart leap when I saw this one. But I thought it came out next year. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wrote it on my wishlist and will keep my eyes peeled!! 😁
DeleteI experienced a tizzying heart leap too, Diana, but, alas, you are right -- The Governess of Penwhythe Hall doesn't come out until April 2019. Boohoo! But isn't the cover gorgeous? So, this one doesn't count, Diane Estrella.

DeleteHello, Kav! As you, I'm so excited for many of the upcoming releases, but this one is my most anticipated. I think? I flip flop on the top spot regularly.
ReplyDelete1.) The Liberty Bride by MaryLu Tyndall

tlhcoupon(at)hotmail(dot)com
Talking about Lynn Austin last week had me excited for her upcoming release.
ReplyDelete2.) Legacy of Mercy by Lynn Austin
tlhcoupon(at)hotmail(dot)com
Kav, I'm just assuming there is a romantic element in this story based on the previous book in the series. If this book doesn't fit this category, let me know and I'll pick a different on. Thank you.
The third choice is always the hardest for me unless you nix my second choice. Then that's gonna be hard. Lol!
ReplyDelete3.) Lady of a Thousand Treasures by Sandra Byrd
tlhcoupon(at)hotmail(dot)com
You're first two selections are news to me choices. Hoorah! And no worries about the romance because this is Historical Romance or Fiction so Legacy of Mercy fits either way. :-) Good luck, Terrill!
