Lost Christmas Memories

GIVEAWAY
MENTINK, DANA
LOST CHRISTMAS MEMORIES

A witness with amnesia
Can she trust this Gold Country Cowboy with her life?

Tracy Wilson witnessed a murder -- but after a head injury, she can't remember what she saw. Now someone plans to silence her for good and only cowboy Keegan Thorn believes her. With a killer after her at Christmas, Tracy is running out of time to remember...and falling dangerously hard for the cowboy who could break her heart.

My Review:

This romantic suspense deserves a heart-rending, ear-piercing SQUEEEP of an endorsement. The fourth book (and please say it's not the last!) in Mentink's Gold Country Cowboy series is intense and funny and poignant and so much more! It's bad-boy brother Keegan's turn to play hero to a very stubbornly independent damsel in distress. This gutsy heroine makes it so hard for a guy to keep his knight-in-shining armor all buffed up and Keegan's collects a few new dents courtesy of Tracy. :-)

Amnesia stories seem to be a popular trope these days and it takes a talented author to bring a fresh angle to what might otherwise become a cliche. I really liked how this theme is handled in Lost Christmas Memories and that's all I'm gonna say 'cause I don't want to post any spoilers.

There's lots of Thorn sibling time and a Christmas wedding for fans of the series to swoon over. And lots of sweet holiday touches throughout. Gotta love a guy who lets the season get on his mushy side.

Superb action, suspense and romance during the Yuletide season makes for a great holiday escape read. Oh -- and no worries if you haven't read the other books in the Gold Country Cowboy series -- this one reads well as a standalone though I guarantee you'll want to backtrack and read the rest of the books once you meet the whole clan.

  11. I caught a peek at this book in Mentink's latest newsletter and did a double take. I had no idea a fourth book was coming in this series. Unfortunately, she mentioned being bittersweet about it being the last of the Thorne Brother's books. So Sorry. 😟 Although I was a fan of her work already, I had started this series after winning the first book from here almost a year ago. Here's to a shot at the final book. 😘 tlhcoupon(at)Hotmail(dot)com

    1. I need to sign up for more author newsletters! Hmmm...there's one character in this book...kinda on the road to redemption and I was hoping for a story. Maybe in a sister series? A reader can hope. Good luck, Terrill.
