Reader's Choice -- Christian Fiction

GIVEAWAY

IMPORTANT EDIT: Due to an ongoing problem with issues posting comments on blogger using iPhones or Macs, I'm opening up all the Reader's Choice Week giveaways to email entries as well. BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you can post in the comments do, it's much less work for me and so much more fun for everyone to see what other readers are looking forward to in new releases. Plus we all need the info so that we can add titles to our TBR lists!!! (so just ignore the bit in the rules area about not being open to email entries) Oh -- and please put in your subject line: the genre, so today would be Christian Fiction, and then in the body of the email put in all three of your choices.

Eeeepppp! The snow might not be melting but the calendar says it's Spring and that means it's time for...

Reader's Choice Giveaway
Spring into Books Edition

So, here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in April, May or June 2022 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

IT'S GENERAL CHRISTIAN FICTION
GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Christian Fiction genre you would like to win.

Christian Fiction -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas. Any genre including previous selections you've made on other days and also for specific genres not covered this week like Women's Fiction, Science Fiction, Speculative Fiction etc.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
APRIL, MAY OR JUNE 2022
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of
due to # of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(no piggyback on someone else's log in)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)

It's helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday April 2 2022

    2. EEP!!! Oh, and just a side note! Becky Wade's newest book which I just started is a must read for animal lovers. The heroine runs a rescue shelter for dogs called Furry Tails and it's loaded with pugs, German shepherds, etc, up for adoption. The hero isn't too excited about it, but I thought some of you might be! 😄

  26. So sad this is the last day for Reader's choice :-( But wow, what a list I have with new & upcoming books to look forward to!

    1. All That it Takes by Nicole Deese (April 2022)

  27. This book sounds amazing! New-to-me author & I love it!!

    2. The Forgotten Life of Eva Gordon by Linda MacKillop (Kregel Publications May 2022)

    ReplyDelete
  28. And lastly, a second book by an author I discovered (and reviewed for). If this is as good as her first book, it's going to be SO SO good & emotional....just like I like it!

    3. What Remains True by Nancy Niagle (May 2022)

That cover is just gorgeous! I can imagine staying in that log cabin home, what a treat that would be :-)

    1. Happy April 1st, Trixi! I wanted to read Nancy's 1st book, The Shell Collector, but it wasn't labeled CF. I know she's a USA Today bestselling author & her books have been made into Hallmark movies, but Amazon has them labeled under clean fiction, friendship fiction, etc, but never Christian fiction. I've also seen her books in the Christian fiction book clubs online. So I'm confused by that. I'm assuming her books don't have an overt Christian theme maybe? 🤔

      Delete
    2. Hmmmm, her publisher is Waterbrook (used to be Waterbrook/Multnomah, or maybe still is?) and I don't remember if her first one had an overtly Christian theme or not, I just know it was so very good! As far as I recall, the publisher is a Christian one. You should read it, really! It's amazing (made me cry at the end). It's been too long so I don't remember details, just the overall story.

Kav, if this doesn't count for CF, let me know and I'll choose a different one. Either way, I'll be reading it :-)

      Delete
    3. Maybe it's more what I would call women's fiction. I still don't really understand what that is, but it is about two women who bond & create a beautiful friendship at first meet. You can't help but get caught up in the story, or at least, I did. I really do think you'd love it Diane!

      Delete
    4. I have The Shell Collector on my TBR pile -- a lovely LARGE PRINT copy from the library that I've already renewed once. Guess I better push it up to the top of my TBR pile! And yes, Waterbrook is still a Christian publisher. Might be they are doing what Thomas Nelson is doing -- some of their authors write Christian Fiction and some write clean fiction? It's tagged as Christian on GR. So we'll keep What Remains True in the giveaway. Good luck, Trixi!

      Delete
    5. If it's tagged CF on Goodreads that's good enough for me! It's also on CBD and it wouldn't be if it wasn't CF! Thanks, ladies!

    6. Trixi, thank you! I'm going to try to read both of them eventually!

    1. Gah -- I haven't even started that Jody Hedlund series and I'm behind with her Princess series too. Glad you are enjoying Heather Day Gilbert's Viking books -- they seem really interesting and unique for CF. And, hey, Elly, I think this is the first RC week you haven't entered a Tamara Leigh title. lol Good luck!

    2. Weeelllll…. I actually did put in a Tamara Leigh title on the “quarterly goals” day😅 She didn’t have any releasing in the next three months, so that was the only day I could fit one in, lol. She does have one releasing in August, though. So have no fear, I’ll be all prepared to make up for it next time around!😉
