Reader's Choice -- Romantic Suspense / Mystery

GIVEAWAY

IMPORTANT EDIT: Due to an ongoing problem with issues some people are having with posting comments on blogger, I'm opening up all the Reader's Choice Week giveaways to email entries as well, however, if you can post in the comments please do  It's so much more fun for everyone to see what other readers are looking forward to in new releases. Plus we all need the info so that we can add titles to our TBR lists!!!  Oh -- and please put in your subject line: the genre, so today would be Historical Fiction, and then in the body of the email put in all three of your choices.

Eeeepppp! Let's get started on compiling those reading lists! (Santa's going to want an early heads up!)

Reader's Choice Giveaway
Summer Bookfest Edition

So, here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in October, November, or December 2022 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

IT'S ROMANTIC SUSPENSE / MYSTERY
GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Romantic Suspense / Mystery genre you would like to win.

Romantic Suspense / Mystery -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas where mystery is an important part of the plot. The hero or heroine (or both) are often in peril (more so in suspense) Can be set in any time period -- contemporary or historical and may cross genres such as YA, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
Oct, Nov or Dec 2022
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
Email entries  permissable
if you can't post a comment
entrants must submit their own selections
(no piggyback on someone else's log in)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)

It's helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday October 1 2022

    2. I had marked Beneath His Silence as Gothic Mystery in my notes from historical day so I checked GR and early reviewers have tagged it as Mystery and even Mystery/Thriller so I think it counts if you want to keep this choice instead of Jessica Patch's one. I'm also ready to be creeped out by another Jaime Jo Wright tale! Good luck, Diana!

    1. Wait a minute...you've been holding out on my, Ms. Book Twin. How did I not know about this Kathy Harris series?! Deadly Conclusion is the third book in the series! I checked on GR and discovered the first two books, though they aren't linked by series there which was irksome. But I'm happy now because the first two are on audible! Woot! They look really good. Can't figure out what connect them as a series and it looks like they could be read out of order but I might just go all rebel and actually read the first one first. Good luck, Lucy!

    1. I think we can count this. I've read Sian Ann Bessey's historicals and she was mentioned on Historical day so...we know it will be clean and, honestly, sometimes these books from Covenant Communications have more of a gentle faith thread then some Christian publisher books. Good luck, Elizabeth!

      Delete
    2. Covenant and Shadow Mountain are both Christian publishers. I love seeing your reviews of them Kav!

      Delete
    3. I did not know that, Heidi. I knew they were guaranteed clean reads though which I appreciate. Especially in Regencies. Sometimes general market Regencies are tagged as clean but they still have lots of profanity (as in taking the Lord's name in vain) so I've had to DNF some great authors over that. I know I won't run into that problem with either of the two publishers you mentioned.

  46. I was just looking at all the new suspense books coming out and I see The Bookshop of Secrets by Mollie Rushmeyer listed a number of times. I think someone at Harlequin dropped the ball when it comes to tags because I've read an early review copy and this is both a mystery and suspense. 1. So, just to confuse you, Tracey has read an arc of The Bookshop of Secrets and says that it is definitely suspenseful and mysterious so it does count for this giveaway after all. I posted a comment up above under your original entry too. So, would you like to keep Bookshop in the running still? Or keep this one instead? Once again, sorry for the mix up. It's very hard to classify a book without having read it and one expects the publishers to do it correctly but....
