Looking Ahead to Next Week's Giveaways:
In a recent bookstore shop I was thrilled to discover two books dealing with one of my favourite topics in history -- the Underground Railroad. One is contemporary and the other historical and I thought it would be fun to read them back to back and offer them up as giveaways. Both are written by new-to-me authors.

Sweeter than birdsong is amazing! Though you might want to read fairer than morning by the same author...it is book 1 and while you can read he second on its own it's more fun o read the first one first!
