As always I will contact the winner by email, however, thanks to the nefarious ways of the internet, my email might land in your spam folder so keep your eyes peeled! If you haven't heard from me by Monday evening, please email me your snail mail address at kavluvstoreadATyahooDOTca. From time to time a winner and I don't seem to connect so I have a one month time frame. If I can't reach you within four weeks, your win is forfeited.
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEK:
Argh -- picmonkey is no longer free so I can't make cutesy graphics.
Off the Grid Christmas by Mary Ellen Porter
Jane in Austin by Hillary Manton Lodge
Mending the Widow's Heart by Mia Ross
It Started With Goodbye by Christina June
What Once Was Lost by Kim Vogel Sawyer
Congrats to this weeks winners!!
ReplyDeleteKav, have you heard of Canva? It's another program like Picmonkey, and I think you get enough free content to work with. Of course there are paid things on there too, but I find enough to make book quote graphics without having to pay. You should be able to do simple ones like you do on your blog. Check it out and see what you think! I love using it myself :-)
By the way, I received The Bachelor's Unexpected Family by Lisa Carter in yesterdays mail, thank you so much!! :-)
DeleteThanks for the tip, Trixi. I did a brief check and it looks a lot more complicated than picmonkey. I couldn't figure out how to get six squares in a collage and how to add your own pics to it etc. Will have to play some this week and see if I can figure it out. Too hot today. Ugh. Glad to here your bachelor arrived safe and sound. :-)
DeleteYes, it is a bit more complicated than PicMonkey and it took me a bit to figure it out too. But I think if you play around with it and figure out the basics, it gets easier (in my opinion). I really enjoy this program especially when I make book quote graphics for my review books. You can add your own pics by uploading them to the program and I believe there are different "frames" you can use to add multiple photos to. Hope you get time and energy to look around and play with it. It can be a lot of fun :-)
DeleteDo you use Instagram? I downloaded Layout for instagram, it allows you to make a collage with up to 9 pics, then you can even use the Instagram filters. Super easy.
DeleteI don't use instagram but I can give it a try! Thanks for the tip, Lea. I'll check it out.
DeleteCongratulations to the winners..... and bummer on the graphics issue. Sounds like Trixi may have solved the problem.....let's hope!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled to be a winner, thank you.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the winners.
Congratulations Ladies! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeletePicture 2 Life might work, if you made them on a desktop/laptop. It is not an app though, so if you prefer that, Instagram might work best. Bummer Picmonkey isn't free anymore.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!
I was bummed about picmonkey too... but when I told my sister about it, she said she's still using it for free, it just doesn't work in certain browsers (like Google Chrome & Firefox). I have no idea why that is-- seems ridiculous to me! But I can ask her which browser she uses if you like? Just let me know. :)
