Three cheers for disgruntled cowboys everywhere -- especially the way Jill Kemerer writes them! Embittered and cantankerous. Prone to wallowing in the pain of the past. And none to happy about his former sweetheart showing up on his doorstep without any warning. What a gnarly reunion! But for all his grumpiness, Mason is a sweetheart. He's a doting dad and a kind neighbour and a devoted friend. A man who can be counted on...
Just not where romance is concerned. And that's fine by Brittany. She's not planning to stay past Christmas...until her heart starts getting ideas her mind can't subdue. Love the ups and downs of this reunion romance. Heartache aplenty, but there are sweet, tender memories too. And surprises galore!
This is the first book in Jill Kenerer's Wyoming Sweethearts series and I already love the town and the people who live there. The author gives us some enticing glimpses into the lives of a few secondary characters I am sure will be featured in future books -- all with their own special brand of angst to look forward to. The next book releases in spring 2020 and I can't wait!
