The Amish Bachelor's Baby

GIVEAWAY
RANDOM RETRO READ DAY
BROWN, JO ANN
THE AMISH BACHELOR'S BABY

A baby changes everything for the Amish Spinster Club

Working in Caleb Hertz's shop fits perfectly with Annie Wagler's plan to match him with her twin sister -- until Annie is drawn to him herself. But with his business, his farm and now his teenage runaway cousin and her baby, Caleb has no time for romance. Can they work together to care for mother and child -- without losing their hearts.

My Review:

published in March 2019

What happens when the matchmaker's match tries matchmaking in reverse? Lots of fun, that's what!

There's Annie so committed to putting her feelings for Caleb aside in order to force...er...encourage...her sister into a relationship with  him. The potential for angst had me worried, but really, it was more lighthearted and funny and tender. Caleb doesn't stand a chance once his cousin joins in the matchmaking bedlam as well, making me a very happy reader. And Betsy Sue's (cousin) story provided a wee bit of intrigue in the midst of all the romantical flutter.

Love the fledgling New York Amish community setting.. This is my first book from Brown's Amish Spinster Club series but I'll for sure and for certain be hunting down the rest of the them. I've just discovered this author (yes, late to the party, that's me!) so I have many happy reading hours in my future.

  4. Although I've known of this author, I've not had the privilege to read one of her books yet. "THE AMISH BACHELOR'S BABY" sounds like an interesting and entertaining book. Love the Amish genre so I know I'd fall in love with it and Annie and Caleb as well as the rest.
