Reader's Choice -- Historical Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Yeehaw!!! Summer Reading here we come!!!! And that means it's...

Reader's Choice Giveaway!
Summer Edition!!

So here's how this things works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in July, August or September 2021 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week :-(

It's HISTORICAL ROMANCE / FICTION
GIVEAWAY DAY

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance / Fiction genre you would like to win.

Historical Romance / Fiction -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period before the 1970s. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publications dates must be
July, August or September 2021
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's login)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email
then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday June 26 2021

  1. This Readers Choice Week snuck up on me, luckily I always have a list going for upcoming books :)

Thank you Kav, we all look forward to these drawings, so fun to see what's coming in the next 3 months! tracey14567 at gmail dot com

Another new series featuring an Irish immigrant lawyer! I know you'll look forward to that as much as I am, Kav

    1. I snuck up on me too -- I just realized it was time when I ordered the last two books from the last RC this week. :-)

Did you hear me squealing from way up here? None of your choices were even on my radar!!!! Eeep! Eeeeeppp! Eeeeeeeppppp! And I'm totally up for that Irish immigrant hero in Carved in Stone. Clearing off the fainting couch in anticipation. Good luck, Tracey!

    1. Kav, not quite sure this is a dual timeline after all or if it belongs in the contemporary category. If not, I can choose another. Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜„

    2. Sqqquuueaaalll -- you found three more I hadn't hear about and they all have an air of mystery.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about Robin Hatcher's either 'casue is says contemporary on Amazon but Historical on Good Reads so I'm thinking it's a Dual Timeline...maybe one with more of a contemporary emphasis but still with a historical aspect if it's anything like her other recent books so we'll say it counts. And then we'll have to read it to find out if we're right. :-) Good luck, Diana!

  24. So, I just simply went to Bethany House and Revell and looked at their upcoming releases.

To Right a Wrong by Jen Turano. Looking forward to this as I loved her character as a secondary one in the first book of this series.

  26. From Revell - The Secret Keepers of Old Grocery Depot by Amanda Cox. Intriguing. Dual timeline with present day and 1965. I see you indicate this category is prior to 1970. I don't know how other websites classify this, so I can select another if you think this doesn't work.

    2. Sqquuueeeeppp -- the second Brothers in Arms novel is coming out in a two weeks! That's a surprise -- I feel like just finished the first book, but I guess I got around to it late. I'm jazzed.

And another Amanda Cox novel coming out too. Baker Publishing is having a grand summer season. And, yes, this one counts because anything pre 1980 is considered Historical Fiction now. That's according to the Library of Congress subject headings. Doesn't that make you feel old? Good luck, CC!
