IMPORTANT EDIT: Due to an ongoing problem with issues posting comments on blogger using iPhones or Macs, I'm opening up all the Reader's Choice Week giveaways to email entries as well. BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you can post in the comments do, it's much less work for me and so much more fun for everyone to see what other readers are looking forward to in new releases. Plus we all need the info so that we can add titles to our TBR lists!!! Oh -- and please put in your subject line: the genre, so today would be Historical Fiction, and then in the body of the email put in all three of your choices.
Eeeepppp! Let's get started on compiling those beach read lists!
Reader's Choice Giveaway
Summer Bookfest Edition
So, here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in July, August or September 2022 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
IT'S HISTORICAL ROMANCE / FICTION
GIVEAWAY DAY!
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance / Fiction genre you would like to win.
Historical Romance / Fiction -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period before 1980. May cross genres such as YA, Suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.
How does it work?
Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication dates must be
JULY, AUG OR SEPT 2022
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
Email entries permissible
if you can't post a comment
entrants must submit their own selections
(no piggyback on someone else's log in)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)
It's helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday July 2 2022

Yikes, I just finished reading the first book in Mary Connealy's series a few weeks ago and the second book is about to be released! Very excited about that. Good luck, Abigail!
DeleteI just finished it today, and it's fantastic! Such fun!
DeleteOne of our favorite weeks of the year! I know a lot of us mark the seasons by Reader's Choice week!
ReplyDeleteI have become a big fan of Jody Hedlund over this past year so I'm going to give her medieval books a try. The first 3 are already out but I'm going for the next 3! Thanks in advance Kav, for all you do to advance Christian fiction!
1) Enriched by Jody Hedlund
Knights of the Brethren series 7/12
2) Enflamed by Jody Hedlund 8/16
ReplyDelete3) Entrusted by Jody Hedlund 9/13
ReplyDeleteThanks Kav!

Yay -- what better way to mark the seasons then with book releases?! Makes perfect sense to me! lol
DeleteI've only read the first couple of books in Jody's first YA princess series, I think. I had no idea there was a whole Medieval series out and about! Gorgeous covers too!!!!! Good luck, Tracey!
Worthy of Legend by Roseanna M White! (September) Thanks for the giveaways!
ReplyDeleterachaeldalquist AT yahoo DOT com
Yessss...and I just read the second book recenlty so I'm all set for this third one. Don't read the back cover if you haven't read book two yet, though. Major spoilers. Good luck, Rachael.
DeleteStill My Forever by Kim Vogel Sawyer

“The Heart of the Mountains” by Pepper Basham
ReplyDeleteOooh, another Kim Vogel Sawyer book!!! Another gorgeous cover too. There's something about sweeping skirts swirling on the cover of a book. Sigh. Good luck, Jackie!
DeleteGood afternoon, Kav, & fellow book junkies! I can't believe 3 months has passed since the last reader's choice giveaway! 😮
ReplyDelete1) From the Fields of Porthlenn by Deborah M. Hathaway (Aug 31)
dianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
Time just seems to fly by when your nose is always buried in a book! :-) And...eeeeppp....a new-to-me Regency author!!! Set in Cornwall!!!! Thud. Good luck, Diana!
DeleteNew to me, too, Kav! She's my FB friend, but I haven't read any of her books yet. I think I can enter this one on our goals day, too, as my goals are reading new authors & more diversity!
DeleteI really enjoyed Deborah's last one. She just keeps getting better and better. I haven't met her in person yet, but she just lives a few miles from me.
DeleteWow, that's cool, Winnie! You need to meet up with her at her house and go through her library. 😂😄

Delete3) Grace on the Mountain Trail by Misty Beller (July 12)
ReplyDeleteI think I've only read a novella by this author...sigh, must do more reading! Good luck, Diana!
DeleteI haven't even read a novella by Misty. Not sure why - her books sound intriguing! 🤔
DeleteOooh, yes! You guys gotta try her out! I’ve read most of her books and they’re always great😃 The first one I read by her was This Treacherous Journey and it hooked me!😍
DeleteThanks for the recommend, Elly. I keep seeing her name -- she's releasing a lot of books! But then I get distracted by...well...books and....oy.
DeleteThanks, Elly! I just can't seem to be able to fit all of these good authors in! Since Covid I read slower bc it's harder to concentrate w/ the whole brain fog thingy going on. As Kav said I get distracted by books & well...everything. 🤔 But it's getting better!
Delete3) Laura's Shadow, Allison Pittman, 8/1/22
ReplyDeletepattymh2000(at)yahoo(dot)com
Good luck, Patty!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking around on the Baker Publishing website and on the most anticipated list of Christian Fiction for 2022 on Goodreads. Thought I had found something great, not already mentioned, re Goodreads, but the book did not fit the correct parameters.... it was an upcoming Kristina McMorris.
ReplyDeleteThe Italian Ballerina by Kristy Cambron.
Beyond the Desert Sands by Tracie Peterson.
ReplyDeleteInventions of the Heart by Mary Connealy. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWas the McMorris book The Ways We Hide? It does look good. I haven't read anything by her, but yes, not CF. I'll have to check my librery. Good luck, CC!
DeleteYes. Not sure why it was in the CF list on Goodreads. Have read Sold, Bridge, and Edge (to shorten titles). Sold was very compelling.
DeleteYippee!! We all await these special weeks!! Eager to see new releases.

I just love her stories!
2. Sill My Forever by Kim Vogel Sawyer (Sept)
ReplyDeleteAnother favorite historical author!
3. A Feeling of Home by Susan Anne Mason (July).
ReplyDeleteSadly, I think this may be the last of her books because she mentioned that Bethany House hasn't renewed her contract. :-( I hope that's just a rumor though, I love her writing!
teamob4 (at) gmail (dot) com
Sadly not a rumor, Trixi. She told me the same. But there's other publishers, right? So we can hope. And pray!
DeleteOh no! Do you mean that she submitted a book proprosal and they said no? Or they won't accept anything else from her? I always thought authors went from contract to contract based on a book/series proposal. So, if they didn't like one project, maybe they would say yes to another?
DeleteHa, welcome late to the party, Trixi! lol Good luck!
