GIVEAWAY |
It's time to help me plan my New Year reading (and future giveaways) by recommending new releases (publication dates January, February or Mach 2018) and you have a chance to win one of the books you recommend! Remember to read all the details before entering!
IT'S AMISH FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Amish Fiction genre you would like to win.
Amish Fiction
A full-length story where the hero or heroine (or both) are Amish OR the story has significant Amish involvement with Amish secondary characters and Amish community. Can be historical or contemporary and can have a mystery or suspense element.
How does it work?
Easy-peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication dates must be
January, February or March 2018
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions a day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
NEW - entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's logon) - NEW
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!
It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday December 23 2017

Ooohhh, a new Amy Lillard book! Good luck, Diana.
DeleteSounds great, but will you switch it to Phoebe's Light by S.W.F.? I loved her historical Amish series! I'll burst if I don't get to read this new one and it won't be a pretty sight. 😉
DeleteEspecially after all that birthday cake! Switched, Diana. Good luck.
DeleteEspecially after that. Shhh...don't tell my beach body coach. 😬 Thanks, Kav. For switching and keeping mum. 😉
DeleteSuzanne Woods Fisher is my favorite Amish writer. She has a new historical series coming out 2/6 called Nantucket Legacy about the Quaker sect. I hope this fits the category as the Amish, Quakers and Mennonites were all closely aligned at this point in time and amazon is listing it under Amish. This looks so good I can't wait for Feb!
ReplyDeletePhoebe's Light
As ever, thanks Kav!

I love Suzanne's books, Tracey. I saw this book in her newsletter or on FB and it wasn't going to be releasing til summer. Yippee! Glad to hear it's in Feb instead! If Kav counts this I'm going to have to do a switcheroo above. :P
DeleteLOL Diana, you are too funny! And Tracey, aren't you the intrepid one discovering this new Suzanne Woods Fisher. Eep! And yes, I think we can include Quaker along with Amish Mennonite. Good luck, Tracey!
DeleteOoh, intrepid, a new monnaker, I'll take it! If you mean I'm adventurous that is :)
DeleteThat's moniker, crazy electronic devices!
DeleteWords from the Heart/Kathleen Fuller 2/13
ReplyDeleteHaven't read anything by her yet, but I love anything that tells a story through letters/journals.
tracey14567 at gmail dot com
I'm anxious for this one to come out as well. Plus I noticed that my library has a number of retro Kathleen Fuller books that I haven't read yet. Gasp! Good luck, Tracey.

Liza's Second Chance by Molly Jebber -- this is an author that's new to me, but the summary is interesting.
ReplyDeleteDianna
Love by the Numbers by Laura V. Hilton is based in Missouri, which is an interesting new setting.
ReplyDeleteDianna
Your last two are new to me. I haven't read anything by Molly Jebber either but I hear she is good. So many books, so little time! Good luck, Dianna.
DeleteFirst choice is Phoebe's Light by Suzanne Woods Fisher. If I think of another I'd like, I'll post it later.

For #3 I'm torn. I wanted to put Lillard's Kappy King and the Puppy Kaper, but it releases late Dec. :-( Then I thought maybe Lillard's Home for Hannah. Then Phoebe's Light sounds good, even if I'm not a fan of Quaker books. But it's Suzanne Woods Fisher and she could actually turn that around. Haha!! The dilemma. . . .
ReplyDelete#3) Beneath the Summer Sun by Kelly Irvin
Haha! Like how I did that?
tlhcoupon(at)Hotmail(dot)com
Whoa -- a scary glimpse into the mind of an avid reader...sounds about right. :-) Good luck, Terrill.
DeleteI am glad to see that Suzanne Woods Fisher's book is acceptable for this category, as her books/series are always so well researched and interesting. It also appeals to the genealogist in me, as I had a Quaker line back in the 1700's. So, Phoebe's Light, Suzanne Woods Fisher, February 2018. Thanks! dobeworld at sbcglobal dot net
ReplyDeleteHis Risk by Shelley Shepard Gray, March 2018, next book in the very good Hart County series.
ReplyDeleteThe Celebration by Wanda Brunstetter, February 2018 - more of the good cooking class series! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNeat that you can trace your ancestry back to the 1700s. And to Quakers! Good luck, CC.
