GIVEAWAY |
It's time to help me plan my New Year reading (and future giveaways) by recommending new releases (publication dates January, February or Mach 2018) and you have a chance to win one of the books you recommend! Remember to read all the details before entering!
IT'S HISTORICAL ROMANCE GIVEAWAY DAY
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance genre you would like to win.
Historical Romance
A full-length story where the romance plays a major role and is set in the time period before the late 1970s. May cross genres such as suspense, dual timelines, Amish, YA.
How does it work?
Easy-peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication dates must be
January, February or March 2018
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions a day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
NEW - entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's logon) - NEW
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!
It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.
Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday December 23 2017
I think this is just about the best category everyone loves...Reader's Choice! :-) So many great historical coming up it's always a toss up as to which ones I'd choose, I'll do my best to curtail it to three, lol!
ReplyDelete1. The Lacemaker by Laura Frantz (January)
It was a toss up as to which I would do as one and which one I would do as two!
ReplyDelete2. Out of the Ashes by Tracie Peterson/Kimberly Woodhouse (Heart of Alaska book 2)
Final choice although there are many, many, many more! (I'm adding to my own must-read list as I go along)
ReplyDelete3. Most Noble Heir by Susan Anne Mason (March)
teamob4 (at) gmail (dot) com
DeleteI don't think I've quite recovered from A Most Noble Heir cover. Phew! Awesome choices, Trixi. I didn't realize Laura Frantz's was coming out quite so soon. Woot! Good luck!
DeleteI love readers choice giveaway time for all the newest books I find out about!
ReplyDeleteHere are three I had on my coming in 2018 wish list!

ReplyDeleteThe Awakening by Tamara Leigh 1/19 ecopy
ReplyDeleteBook 7 in the Age of Faith Medieval series
tracey14567 at gmail dot com
I love this week too. I've been randomly liking new books I see on GoodReads but they are all mushed together with all the other 'old' books I want to read so that's not much help.
DeleteLast night I reduced my 40ish page 2017 wishlist into a modest 3 pages!!! So now I feel I can indulge in planning out my New Year reads. :-)
Sad that Tamara Leigh's book (whole series actually) is only in ebook format but deliriously happy over that new Lisa T. Bergren book. Haven't read anything by her in a while. Woot. Now she's on my list! Good luck, Tracey.
40ish pages to 3 pages? Wow, I have maybe 25 books I'm behind on, but not 3 pages!of course you read 3 times as many books as me so I guess that makes sense.
DeleteActually Tamara Leigh's Age of Faith Series is also in paperback (I asked my library to order them and they did. I also have the first two in paperback myself.) I just asked Ms. Leigh and she says that the paperback version of "The Awakening" should be releasing January 19th, same date as the ebook.
DeleteThanks for letting me now this series comes in 'real' book format too, Elly! :-)
DeleteI love this week with you and books, Kav! I am going with The Lace Maker (January) by Laura Frantz
ReplyDeletemauback55 at gmail dot com
I do too!!! And I predict that The Lacemaker is going to be the most asked for book in this genre. Good luck, Melanie.
DeleteThe Lacemaker by Laura Frantz January 2018
ReplyDeleteThanks Kav!

And I would love to read
ReplyDeleteMost Noble Heir by Susan Anne Mason March 2018

ReplyDeleteLaura's would be my first choice, but since Santa is bringing me hers I will pick:
1) Keturah by Lisa T. Bergren (Feb.6)
dianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
Wow, you have an in with Santa and he tells you want you'll be getting?! Keturah looks super intriguing -- love the unusual setting. Good luck, Diana.
DeleteI've been especially nice this year and my b-day is Wed, too, so how could Santa not take notice? (cough cough)
DeleteAh, the privileges of being a December baby!
DeleteIndeed! ;-)

Delete2) A Most Noble Heir by Susan Anne Mason (Mar 6)
dianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
3) Across the Blue by Carrie Turansky (Feb 20)
ReplyDeletedianalflowers(at)aol(dot)com
Bwahahaha -- Kindle was telling you it's time to read a book not dream about books not even published yet! lol
DeleteAcross the Blue is new to me. Love Carrie Turansky's books. Now this one is duly noted on my 2018 list (which is divided by months for optimum efficiency.) Good luck, Diana.
Kindle should know it's a useless cause. I daydream about books almost as much as I read them! bwahahaha
DeleteWould you please switch my choice of Across the Blue to The Mayflower Bride by Kimberley Woodhouse instead? Releases February 1. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.
DeleteYour wish is my command. Switched. Good luck, Diana.

My second choice is The Mayflower Bride by Kimberley Woodhouse.
ReplyDeleteElly
And my third choice is Keturah by Lisa T. Bergren.
ReplyDeleteElly
Great choices, Elly. You are a discerning reader. :-) If I'm reading what you said correctly, The Awakening will be released as a paperback as well? Even though it just says ebook right now on Amazon? Does that mean the rest of the series is available in pb???? Ooooohhhhhhh, must check into that. Good luck, Elly.
DeleteYes, I contacted Ms. Leigh through Facebook two days ago and asked about the paperback of The Awakening. And yes! You should definitely check out the rest of the series! I asked my library to order them and they ordered the entire series in paperback (that is how I first read them.) Only a month ago, I ordered paperback copies of the first and second books in the series for myself. Definitely worth the read!
ReplyDeleteThis is exciting news. Thanks, Elly! I haven't read a whole lot by Tamara Leigh so here's a great chance to change that.
