BLIND TRUST

A puppy stolen, a woman in jeopardy...the next exciting True Blue K-9 Unit story

When guide dog trainer Eva Kendall stumbles on a dognapping someone sets their deadly sights on her. Now she'll do anything to find her guide-dog-in-training -- except admit her most painful secret to K-9 officer Finn Gallagher. But can Finn and his K-9 partner help her track down the puppy...and uncover the criminal's true motives before attacks on Eva turn fatal?

My Review:

Isn't that a great cover? See the little chocolate lab sheltered below the fearless K-9?! That just melts my socks off! Love, love, love this continuity series! This is the third book but easily reads well as a standalone. Love that it's these special dogs and their individual talents that link the books in this series. Of course, the handlers are pretty cool too. :-) Like debonaire Finn Gallagher who has a bit of a reputation as a ladies' man. Eva isn't interested though (ha!) she has enough going on in her life including a secret she's very reluctant to share with Finn. Cue the tension and angst and the trauma of dognapping (gasp!) Mystery and suspense collide with the sweet stirrings of new love and that results in another stellar addition to the True Blue K-9 Unit series!

  1. I need to jump into a K-9 series and this looks like a good place to start.
Btw-have you noticed a bunch of Finn's in C.F. lately? I sure have. It's a popular name it would seem.
    Thank you Kav!

    1. And I bet you're waiting until you have them all before you start reading! Such will power! But how did you get book 4 already? I'm waiting until June 1 to order it a month early from Harlequin. eeeeeppp!!!! Good luck, Trixi!

    2. I am indeed waiting for all of them. There are other books to keep me occupied until then, hundreds waiting for me in my shelves, lol! 😉 Not to mention my Kindle plus a few review books, so I am well stocked on books.

I happened to visit my local Goodwill second-hand store yesterday and picked up five Large Print LIS books, all July releases and Deep Undercover was included. I took them books off the shelf faster than a speeding bullet, haha!! Or faster than the fastest gun draw in the old West. I'm thinking someone in my town has the Reader Service because it's not the first time I've gotten pre-release LI books. And at only 99¢ a piece, it's a bargain I can afford.

    3. Ooops, I picked up six LIS books. One wasn't Large Print but it was an April release, "Undercover Jeapordy" by Kathleen Tailer.

    4. Ah -- that makes sense -- the Reader's Service gets their books about six weeks before the store date, I believe. How cool that you can get LI and LIS books in your Goodwill store!

  6. LOVE the K-9 Love Inspired Suspense books and "BLIND TRUST" fills that bill for sure sounding like another awesome addition to this series. Between the cover, description and your review, this book is now on my TBR list. I can't wait for the opportunity to read it.

Greatly appreciate the chance to win a copy!
