The Texan's Secret Daughter

GIVEAWAY
NAVARRO, JOLENE
THE TEXAN'S SECRET DAUGHTER

Can this rancher make up for his past? A Cowboys of Diamondback Ranch romance

Turning his life around was the hardest ting Elijah De La Rosa ever had to do -- until his ex-wife, Jazmine Daniels, returns with their young daughter he didn't know existed. Now this successful rancher will do anything to be a good father. But can he forgive himself for the past...and turn their second chance into a family for always?

My Review:

I was in emotional overdrive the entire read. All. The. Way. Through. My heart did so many calisthenics it hurts!

I'm usually not a fan of the secret baby/child trope -- in fact I'm likely to NOT read this kind of book but...it's Jolene Navarro and the very first book I read by her was also about a secret baby and she totally won me over with that one so I dived into The Texan's Secret Daughter with a healthy dose of anticipatory dread. :-)

Cue a chronic case of the collywobbles because...Elijah!...Jazmine! Oy, all the what if's and could have beens and....whimper. Have copious amounts of chocolate and a box of kleenex handy for this read!

  1. I'm not usually a secret baby troupe fan either, and Jolene won me over with this one too! Jazmine had valid reasons that I totally get :-)

This was the first book I've read by Jolene but it won't be my last! Definite Kleenex book.

  8. I don't necessarily avoid this trope, but I've stopped getting new LI contemporaries due to having quite a few I already published that I really to still read. That is, unless a fabulous review or favorite author tempts my resolve. You've tempted my resolve, Kav! Lol.
