Thanks to my public library for providing me with an audio copy of these novellas.

Silent Night --Christmas in May you say? Absolutely -- if it's Colleen Coble! And especially if one of my favourite fictional canines shows up and plays hero. Samson, a piece of my heart will always belong to you! Loved this chance to get a glimpse of what married life is like for Bree and Cade (and Samson!) And there's something spectacular about a snowy winter in the North Woods! Plus there's a mystery to solve and a sweet family to celebrate the holidays with.  'Silent Night' conveys the wonder and joy of the season with the kind of fictional characters this reader can't get enough of!

Holy Night -- Woohoo -- Christmas in Hawaii! Including a holiday wedding...on the beach!!!! At least, if the bad guys don't mess things up. Classic Coble edge-of-your-seat suspense with sinister villains and time running out and the kind of pressure doomed to cause trouble in paradise. A hair-raising page-turner!

    This isn't a remake is it? I've read all the Rock Harbor books so I just want to make sure. If not, count me in! I seriously need to catch up with Colleen's books.

      I think both novellas were released separately as ebooks only. Let me check. Okay -- Silent NIght was published in 2012 (Kindle edition) and Holy Night was published in 2013 (Kindle edition) so this is the first time they've been published together in paperback format.     After miserably high humidity and nasty thunderstorms, this cover looks cool, peaceful, and beautiful! Since these have a Christmas theme perhaps they won't be quite as "bump in the night" suspenseful as some. Thanks!

      Oh, yuck, you have humidity already? Not looking forward to that part of summer! We're still cooler spring temps which is perfect for gardening. Hopefully I'll get all the hard stuff done before the humidity hits! T

      The first story in this collection is definitely more mystery but the second one is trademark Coble suspense all the way! So, a bit of everything and some Christmas thrown in. Good luck, CC!

    Great author, Christmas romance, exotic location, suspense and mystery with damsel in trouble, and then you toss in a lovable pooch to boot? Sounds like the perfect anytime book that I would love the opportunity to read.
