Reader's Choice -- Contemporary Romance/Fiction

GIVEAWAY

Eeeeppp -- it's that glorious time. The weather is cooling off, leaves are changing colour and I've been bitten by the looking-ahead-to-upcoming-releases bug! That means it's time for the fall edition of Reader's Choice Giveaway!

So here's how this thing works: You recommend Christian fiction titles with release dates in October, November or December 2019 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(

IT'S CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE/FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Contemporary Romance/Fiction genre you would like to win.

Contemporary Romance/Fiction

A full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period after the 1980s. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
October, November or December 2019
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's  logon)
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!!

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will held and winner announced on
Saturday September 14  2019

    1. Oooohhhh -- you found a Hallmark Publishing Christmas story. Awesome! I'm anxious to read some novels from this new publisher.

Your second choice -- from Kelly Long's Ice Mountain series isn't a Christian Fiction selection. I only read the first book in that series and found that it had mature themes -- very sensual and physical desire driven characterization. I had read earlier books by her so I was surprised and then realized that she had switched to a mainstream publisher and, while keeping the Amish theme, steamed up her books some. Still likely considered tame by mainstream standards, but not content that a Christian publisher would be comfortable with. I haven't read any others in this series but the book you suggested isn't tagged as Christian fiction and it's published by Zebra which is a mainstream publisher. So feel free to make another selection for this category. Good luck, Kay!

    2. All three of the books I picked were listed on Amazon under Religion & Spirituality. Sorry I'm not coming up with the right selections. Any suggestion on how to pick them if I can't go by those categories on Amazon???

    4. Not your fault, Kay. Amazon is horrid for searching. They seem to have their own recommendation system that slips in other titles that don't meet with your search criteria. Every time. Gah! So frustrating. You might try search upcoming releases on christianbook.com or publisher websites. Baker's Publishing which includes Bethany House and Revell is pretty good.

I was lucky enough to get an early review copy of this, but I want a finalized paperback for my shelf. Not your typical hero from Denise, a smart nerdy type guy, so I loved it all the more. Guaranteed great read!

Excited about this new series by Denise Hunter though I'm woefully behind in her other one. Must get on that. And I love the idea of anerdy type hero. :-) And Patricia Davids -- all that needs to be said is -- eeeeepppp!!! Good luck, Tracey!
