GIVEAWAY |
Eeeeppp -- it's that glorious time. The weather is cooling off, leaves are changing colour and I've been bitten by the looking-ahead-to-upcoming-releases bug! That means it's time for the fall edition of Reader's Choice Giveaway!
So here's how this thing works: You recommend Christian fiction titles with release dates in October, November or December 2019 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.
PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(
IT'S HISTORICAL ROMANCE/FICTION GIVEAWAY DAY!
To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Historical Romance/Fiction genre you would like to win.
Historical Romance/Fiction
A full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period before the 1970s. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.
How does it work?
Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.
BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!
Publication dates must be
October, November or December 2019
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's logon)
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!!
It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.
Draw will held and winner announced on
Saturday September 14 2019
Happy September Kav, you had me chuckling with your rabid giddy comment a few days ago :) And a notebook with a cat on it? can't help but smile about that too. Yay for Fall's Reader's Choice Week! Let the fun begin!

The Thief of Lanwyn Manor by Sarah E. Ladd
ReplyDeleteA Pursuit of Home by Kristi Ann Hunter
ReplyDeleteOOOhhh -- I do a love a Julie Klassen novel! This makes me excited. But I'm a bit panicky too because I'm one book behind on Kristi Ann Hunter's Haven Manor series. Ack!
DeleteAlas, The Thief of Lanwyn Manor (which I'm drooling over!) doesn't release until January so it's not eligible for this giveaway. Feel free to select another title. Good luck, Heidi!
I see a New Julie Klassen coming out....love, love, love her writing!!! So that's my first choice:
ReplyDelete1. The Bridge to Belle Island~Julie Klassen (December)
I do too. Looking forward to this one -- and the cover is gorgeous. Good luck, Trixi!
Delete1. A Pursuit of Home by Kristi Ann Hunter

2. The Bridge of Belle Island by Julie Klassen
ReplyDeleterachaeldalquist AT yahoo DOT com
3. Carry Me Away by Dorothy Adamek (according to her website, it will be available November 5, 2019! At last, the long-awaited sequel to Carry Me Home!)
ReplyDeleterachaeldalquist AT yahoo DOT com
I can't find any info on the release date of Carry Me Away -- though I'm uber excited about it's release. It's not on Amazon at all and Good Reads doesn't have a date and I couldn't find a date on her website...it's not listed under books. Are you sure of the release date? I sure hope so! Good luck, Rachael!
DeleteIt's on the blog--in the most recent post, she's assembling a cover reveal team and it has release date announced within (but I will admit, it was work to find!)
DeleteHer fb page says Nov 5th, I've been waiting for this book forever!
DeleteYes -- she messaged me and you guys are right. She says everything will be up end of next week and November 5 is definitely the release date. Woot! Happy Campers all. Good sleuthing, Rachael. I'm really jazzed about this one.
DeleteHappy Monday everyone!! Another fun bookish week to come!

ReplyDelete3) Misleading Miss Verity by Carolyn Miller (Nov 19)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about Carry Me Away too but I can't find it listed anywhere so not sure about the release date. I'll try contacting the author and see if she can confirm the release date. Good luck, Diana.
DeleteKav, I saw it in my newsfeed. Not sure whether it was on her author page or what. I know her cover reveal is coming up REAL soon, so perhaps will be on Amazon shortly after that.
DeleteI couldn't find it on her website at all. I messaged her on facebook though it sounds like you and Rachael are in the know.
DeleteYes, she got back to me and the release date is November 5 so it's a go. Yay!
DeleteYippee!! Thanks for double checking on that, Kav!

ReplyDeleteSo many historical coming out, so hard to choose!
teamob4 (at) gmail (dot) com
You know, I've never read anything by Misty M. Beiler, but audible has some of her books so I've added them to my wishlist. The preview sound bites sound really good. And now she's here with a new series. Yikes!
DeleteI'm over the moon excited about Jan's book! Love that mix of Amish and Historical and she's an awesome writer. Good luck, Trixi!
I've never read anything by Misty either, but I have heard she is an excellent writer. The book blurb has my interest piqued. I just can't resist that beautiful cover, what majestic scenery!
DeleteI think she might be a "new" writer for Bethany House, and they are one of my favorite publishers. So this one is doubly exciting!
Yes, I think she started out indie. I have read some great reviews from GR friends so I really want to give her a try.
DeleteMisty Beller is fabulous!! I love her series through the Canadian Rockies and am so looking forward to this new one!
DeleteNow I really have to get cracking on that audible line up of her books. Love when book friends recommend new-to-me authors.

DeleteWhen Silence Sings by Sarah Loudin Thomas. She has a rather unique writing style, or certainly in some of her earlier books I have read....nearly lyrical at times. I have been reading and enjoying all the comments thus far. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe Major's Daughter by Regina Jennings. This has been a good series.
ReplyDeleteThe Bridge of Belle Island by Julie Klassen.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Ohhhhh -- Sarah Loudin Thomas -- I adore her! Lyrical is the perfect way to describe her writing style. Smooth like butter, the words just melt in your mouth...happy sigh. Good luck, CC!

I want to read all of these too. Lots of great books coming out! Good luck, Lori!
DeleteDid anyone see the new Tracie Peterson coming out too? I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it yet. Here's a couple of suggestions if anyone wants to list them:
ReplyDeleteWhat Comes My Way~October
The Rebel Bride~Shannon McNear (Daughter's of the Mayflower book 10) December.
I just picked up the second book in the Brookstone Brides series by Tracie Peterson today! From my library! And now the next one is coming out! Woot! Thanks for adding some more great titles, Trixi!
DeleteI'm always on the lookout for titles not mentioned here. We're pretty savvy readers up on our books coming out, but with so many releasing in a three month period, a few may slip under our radar!
DeleteI love when others point out books I may have missed, so I love returning favor 😉
P.S. I need to play catch-up with Tracie, it's been ages since I read a book by her!
