SLEIGHT OF PAW
Small-town librarian Kathleen Paulsen never wanted to be the crazy cat lady. But after Own and Hercules followed her home, she realized her mind wasn't playing tricks on her -- her cats have magical abilities. When the body of elderly do-gooder Agatha Shepherd is found near Kath's favorite cafe, she knows Ownen's talent for invisible and Hercules's ability to walk through walls will give the felines access to clues Kath couldn't get without arousing suspicion. Someone is hiding some dark secrets -- and it will take a bit of furtive investigating to catch the col-hearted killer.
My Review:
Pawsitively the best literary cat duo ever! Owen and Hercules are my heroes! And I love the way Kathleen talks to them and the way they respond to her. This author must be a cat whisperer!
This is actually the second book in the Magical Cats series but it reads wonderfully well on it's own. Kelly does a great job of introducing the town and the characters while keeping the plot hopping along. Love the intricacies of the mystery and the intriguing sizzle of potential romance with a certain detective. And who can resist a librarian heroine?! On the verge of becoming a crazy cat lady? Cozies don't get any better!
I listened to the audible version and it was sweet purrfection!
Please note: This isn't a Christian Fiction selection but it is a clean read
