Knox

GIVEAWAY
WARREN, SUSAN MAY
KNOX

Montana rancher Knox Marshall's danger years are behind him. A former bull-rider, he now runs the Marshall family ranch, raising champion bucking bulls for the National Professional Bullrider's Expo (NBR-X). Wealth and success are his, but life is stable, expected, and...ordinary. He can't help but wonder if his best years are behind him.

Kelsey Jones just wants a safe life, a family, a home. Onstage, the beautiful rising star of the Yankee Belles becomes the person she longs to be -- vivacious and confident -- burying the brokenness she carries from a violent assault. Becoming NBR-X's next country act is key to outrunning her past and achieving the success and security she craves.

Knox and Kelsey's paths collide when an explosion at an NBR-X event traps them in the rubble and leaves them reeling. Kelsey's crippling nightmares return, but for Knox, an obsession to find the bomber is ignited.

When Kelsey's past threatens Knox's family, he'll have to choose between saving the Marshall legacy or becoming the protector he's always longed to be.

The explosive beginning to the Montana Marshall series.

My Review:

So yes, I'm late to the Montana Marshalls party, but better late than never, right?! And book one is chock full of the kind of angst-riddled family drama that Warren does so well. She barely gives her reader's a chance to breathe let alone reach for comfort chocolate! Intense from the very first page -- both with the suspense and the romance and the family dynamics and brother Tate and...well...you might just need to pace your reading withe some zen yoga moves in order to make it safely to the end.

  1. I've only read "Knox" but have the entire set (except Tate) on my Kindle. I think these are the type that must be read back to back because who can possibly stop at just one?? 😂😂

    1. It does seem like they run into each other -- if the ending to Knox is any indication. We sort one brother out and plunge the next one into disaster. lol

  4. a bit different take, overall, on a rodeo story. Interesting character background, certainly to me, as I had a classmate in high school whose father was a nationally known rodeo stock contractor. I have always enjoyed Susan's books - have read scattered ones from several series. Thanks!
