Reader's Choice -- Contemporary Romance

GIVEAWAY

It's that time again -- when a bibliophile's fancy turns to new fall releases....and that means.....

 Reader's Choice Giveaway!
Autumn Edition!!

So here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in October, November or December 2020 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

**Special Note: In a bid to help bring more awareness to Indie published books (which are harder to source pre-release date) I am going to include a list of indie books at the end of each blog post. If I discover more titles after this blog goes live, I'll list them all in caps in the comments.**

PLEASE NOTE: email entries are not eligible this week. :-(

IT'S CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Contemporary Romance genre you would like to win.

Contemporary Romance

A full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period after 1980 with Romance as a central theme. May cross genres such as YA, suspense, Amish etc. and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section each day and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
 October, November or December 2020
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to 3 suggestions per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier for me to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of due to
# of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(not piggyback on someone else's  logon)
Open to International Readers
I'm all about spreading the good news about Christian Fiction
all over the globe!!!!!

It's helpful if you include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments (per day). If you choose not to include your email then it's up to you to contact me if you're a winner.

Draw will held and winner announced on
Saturday September 26 2020

  1. I have read one of these and waiting for the other in the mail any day now, but thought I'd throw them out for anyone looking :)

    1. Although Lisa's is a romance and a suspense you may want to save that one for tomorrow Kav :)

    2. I have Autumn Skies on my audible wishlist. Really looking forward to that. And thanks for reminding me about Lisa Carter's new one -- and it will work in either contemp or suspense since we cross genres now. The key things are conetemp and romance for today and it will fit both criteria.

The Sound of Falling Leaves is a book that was supposed to published last year and then got bumped to the spring and finally here we are. I'm so looking forward to it.

Ha! And just a little funny rabbit trail tidbit. I just checked to see if The Sound of Falling Leaves is on audible (it's not) but in the oh-so-no-helpful hitlist audible gave me is the dubious title "Kiss Your Ear"Spice Series #1 -- because yes, that so matches with Sound of Falling leaves? It's a miracle we're able to track down any of the books we want. lol

    Scheduled for December release (Goodreads)

She said in her newsletter it was finished so all that's left is the editing. It looks like it's on schedule.

I was just searching this on Amazon when Heidi beat me to it. Lol Wanted to be sure it was labeled Christian fiction & it is. However, I remember what you said about her 1st book lacking a spiritual thread, Kav.

    2. The Cedar Key sounds good but it's already out -- a September release so choose another one.

      Delete
    3. Kav, I'm seeing Oct 5. Maybe that's the Kindle version? To avoid confusion (which I already caused...bwahahaha) I'll just stick with my 1st 2 choices. Not sure if Cul-de-Sac War is Christian fiction even though Thomas Nelson is the publisher.

      Delete
    4. Okey dokey, Diana. We'll have to read it and see about the faith thread (or lack there of.) Andyes, The Cedar Key released September 6. Weird that the kindle version is six weeks later! Can't imagine what the hold up would be. And yes, confusion is the name of the game today. lol

      Delete
    5. hahaha Like a famous author once said if things weren't perfect in her books, Don't blame me, blame my publisher.
So we'll just blame the publishers for any and all confusion today. LOL!

  25. Lastly, I hope ebooks count because I don't see this in print on Amazon. It's a series I have really been enjoying by an author i just discovered not too long ago! This is the last book and I can't wait!!!

    3. Finding Love for the Matchmaker by Laurie Larsen~October

The series is called "Matchmaking Moms of Oceanview Church" about three women who meet and formed a pact to find love for their adult children. It's hilarious, fun, realistic, and full of faith. Only one of the women isn't married, so this last book is about her finding her happily-ever-after. :-) I can't wait to read it!!!

    1. Sure, ebooks count, I just don't read 'em. :-) I guess I should be more conscientious about letting winners know they can have an ebook or a paperback. I just forget that some people prefer ebooks. lol Good luck, Trixi!

      Delete
    2. The rest of the series is available in paperback, so I'm thinking because it's in pre-release status that it won't be in book form until it does release. I certainly prefer real books over ebooks..lol! But I will read them since not all books are available in real form.

I figure as long as a person is reading, it doesn't matter what format they choose :-)

    1. This one is intriguing. I don't think we'll know if it's historical or contemporary or both until we actual get it. The tag on amazon says contemp but the blurb talks about the 1940s. Like you, I'm thinking dual timeline even though it isn't tagged that way. Strange. Good luck, Tracey!

I'm excited for Jocelyn as well. I'm waiting for the audible version which will come out a few weeks later.
