QUARTERLY GOALS REVIEW
GIVEAWAY!
It's super easy -- you just need to share at least one reading goal you have made for 2022. Can be as simple as the # of books you'd like to read or an author you'd like to try or a genre you want to focus on. Anything goes, they're your goals, after all. And, if you're comfortable sharing, let us know how you are progressing. Then, in the same comment, list a book that will help you reach your goal. So it looks like this:
"I want to catch up on some suspense series. Night Prey by Susan Sleeman."
****NOTE: BOOKS MUST BE CHRISTIAN FICTION****
You can enter up to three times in three separate comments -- and you can use the same goal or different ones each time.
Books can be published any time up until JUNE 2022. Currently published books will be ordered the first week in April for the winners, otherwise it will be an IOU for a April, May or June 2022 title.
See? Easy Peasy. But if you're still not clear, don't be shy about asking questions.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: TODAY'S GIVEAWAY IS OPEN TO EMAIL ENTRIES. JUST TYPE 'READING GOALS' IN THE SUBJECT LINE AND THEN LIST YOUR ENTRY SELECTIONS IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL.*

READING GOALS
QUARTERLY REVIEW:
116 books read (that seems like a lot, but keep in mind, I live alone and have a chronic pain condition that limits what I can do. Plus I have a tedious amount of stretches and exercises to do daily, plus walks and listening to books is my dangling carrot! :-) And yes, audible books have really increased the number of books I am able to read.
13 books DNF (Did Not Finish) mostly because of content issues, only 3 Christian Fiction books -- 2 because I just couldn't get into the story and 1 because it had a dreaded love triangle that was reported to last most of the book.
#1 READ MORE INDIE AUTHORS
5 books -- Need to do better on this goal!
#2 CATCH UP ON SERIES I'M BEHIND IN
Need to better with this goal too!
2 series completely caught up
5 series in progress
#3 READ MORE DEBUT AUTHORS
6 authors -- not bad, but could do better
#4 READ MORE NEW-TO-ME AUTHORS
8 authors
#5 DIVERSIFY MY READING
34 books! -- Yay me!!
This is largely thanks to my penchant for Regency Romances though, 'cause I had a lot of UK settings. By the end of the year the US might be considered a diverse setting for me. Bwahahaha! Here's the breakdown:
Diverse settings:
17 books set in the UK
4 books set in Canada
3 books set in France
1 book set in Australia
1 book set in Africa
Diverse author nationality:
1 Canadian
2 British
2 Australian
8 Ethnically diverse authors
8 books with ethnically diverse characters
5 books with disabled or chronically ill characters
#6 STAY CURRENT WITH SERIES
19 series current to date!!!
#7 START NEW-TO-ME SERIES
16 new series started! (ack, I'm already worried about keeping up!)
#8 PLAY AUTHOR CATCH-UP
Sigh, making some headway but haven't completely caught up with any of my targeted authors yet!
#9 READ OUTSIDE MY COMFORT ZONE (OCCASIONALLY!)
2 books -- oops, I'm still avoiding these but I did read a hockey book!!!!
#10 GIVE UNLOVED TROPES A SECOND CHANCE
0 books read!!!!! What can I say, I'm a reader of habit! Clearly I know what I like and gravitate towards that. I did try a love triangle but I DNFed it!!!! Oops again.
Tada! That's it (so far!) So, now it's your turn:
