Reader's Choice -- Contemporary Romance

GIVEAWAY

IMPORTANT EDIT: Due to an ongoing problem with issues posting comments on blogger using iPhones or Macs, I'm opening up all the Reader's Choice Week giveaways to email entries as well. BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you can post in the comments do, it's much less work for me and so much more fun for everyone to see what other readers are looking forward to in new releases. Plus we all need the info so that we can add titles to our TBR lists!!! (so just ignore the bit in the rules area about not being open to email entries) Oh -- and please put in your subject line: the genre, so today would be Contemporary Fiction, and then in the body of the email put in all three of your choices.

Eeeepppp! The snow might not be melting but the calendar says it's Spring and that means it's time for...

Reader's Choice Giveaway
Spring into Books Edition

So, here's how this thing works: You recommend CHRISTIAN FICTION titles with release dates in April, May or June 2022 (up to three suggestions per genre day) and you have a chance to win one of your recommendations! BUT it's a little more complicated than that so be sure to read ALL the details before entering.

IT'S CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE / FICTION
GIVEAWAY DAY!

To be entered in the draw just leave a comment (or 3) below, including the title(s) of the book(s) in the Contemporary Romance / Fiction genre you would like to win.

Contemporary Romance / Fiction -- a full length story or novella or collection of novellas set in any time period after1980. May cross genres such as YA, Suspense, Amish etc and may include dual timelines.

How does it work?

Easy peasy! Make recommendations in the comment section and if you win, you win the book you suggested.

BUT YOU GOTTA FOLLOW THE RULES!

Publication dates must be
APRIL, MAY OR JUNE 2022
Each day is genre specific so
only submit books from that genre
Christian Fiction books only please!
You can offer up to three suggestions
per genre day
BUT
they need to be made in
three separate comments
(makes it easier to tally)
No email entries this week
(too hard to keep track of
due to # of responses)
entrants must submit their own selections
(no piggyback on someone else's log in)
Open to International Readers
(I'm all about spreading the good news
about Christian Fiction far and wide)

It's helpful to include your email (using AT and DOT instead of @ and . to protect yourself from spammers) but you only need to add it to one of your comments per day. If you choose not to include your email, then it's up to you to contact me if you are a winner.

Draw will be held and winner announced on
Saturday April 2 2022

  1. Took a late afternoon nap & yes, now I'm still up. Ugh

    1) The View from Coral Cove by Amy Clipston (May 10) YES! I read her 1st contemporary romance last year & couldn't wait for this one to release. EEP!

New author goal & diversity! Australia! 😲

    1. True confession: I had Amy Clipston's first contemp novel out from the library and didn't finish it because it was a prolonged love triangle! How angsty did it get? I heard the love triangle last almost through the whole book. I chickened out. Should I read it?

And interesting that our fave Amish Fiction writers are turning to Contemporary novels now. It's like a mass exodus by the backbone of the genre.

Aren't you clever helping me with my diversity goals! Plus a new author. I'm in. Hope it comes out in paperback too. Good luck, Diana! Thins are looking up today -- it's only -14 with the windchill but it's sunny!

    2. It's hard for me to remember, but I don't think the LT was that bad bc it was obvious all along who was going to win her heart. It was to me anyway. But I don't mind LTs so I'm probably not the best person to ask. 😉 The plot was angsty bc what good contemporary romance isn't? 😆

I am clever like that. (wink) Actually I stumbled on that Australian author and book in a Christian book club on FB. lol

Ugh -14? Well, thankfully you have sun! We don't. It's supposed to get in the high 80s this week, but no sun. A cloudy 80° day. Go figure!

    5. Kav, I hope no one throws tomatoes at this dizzy blonde, but true confession is good for the soul. I never quite got on the Karen Kingsbury bandwagon. She's a brilliant author obviously, just not my flavor. Oops, I just ducked a flying tomato! Bwahahahaha

    6. I liked her angel series...well, there was only one book but I thought it was good and then it petered out. The few others I read were all Baxter related somehow and it got kind of annoying so I gave up. LOL We can duck tomatoes together.
